This book was recommended to me by a Master Bladesmith as an introductory guide on the uses of metal through the ages, and I must say it has been a fantastic purchase thus far! I recommend it to anyone interested in the blacksmithing arts, as it gives a great history, and surprisingly enough it's not dry reading. This book is no longer in print, so if you find a copy in good condition hold on to it!!!
