This shaver has been a pain ever since I bought it. The inside area is covered in some sort of sticky residue that restricts the blades from moving, so I have to clean it as much as possible just to get it to turn on. When it does turn on, it moves very slowly so that I can feel every hair being shaved (ouch). The on/off button rarely works, so it takes me a good 20 tries or so to get it on/off. The round shape, too, makes it difficult to reach spots where you want precision, like the bikini line because you can't get close enough. I would definitely not recommend this product to anyone.

3/7/11 UPDATE Epilady sent me a second shaver at their expense. At my request they tested the charging system on the shaver before it left their facility. Get this; the VP who I communicated with admitted they know that the shaver won't fully charge and they shipped the replacement anyways. To them, 20 minutes of shave time is acceptable even though the advertised time on their website is 45 minutes. When I used the shaver after charging it for 16 hours the motor ran weakly and then quit at 9 minutes. Do yourself a favor and buy the Remington WDF-1600. I did and I'm very happy that I did (much less expensive, too)!

ORIGINAL POSTING: This shaver did not work, as advertised, right out of the box, because the shaver never took a charge properly. Within the first 30 days, the shaver wouldn't charge at all! Epilady did not respond to my request for help with their defective product, even though I bought the product directly from them since I was able to get a better price.
