Extensive cross-referencing has been used so the reader can easily find a subject. For example, a febrile seizure is cross-referenced under "Convulsions, (see also Febrile convulsions; Neonatal (S)," "Seizure, febrile (see Febrile seizure)," as well as "Febrile convulsions, seizure." The text phrase "see..." indicates that "..." is considered a relative synonym. The text phrase "see also..." suggests a related but not identical topic. For brevity, (S) denotes "seizure" and (E) "epilepsy." Naturally. these two terms are employed frequently.

This review is from: Epilepsy A to Z: A Glossary of Epilepsy Terminology (Paperback)
This book is of use to any person who wants to know more about epilepsy; specifically, about terms and medications they might here when talking to a person who has epilepsy. There may be some areas which would be difficult for lay readers to understand. Overall, a very good resource. Any person interested in teaching about epilepsy should have this book.
