Firstly, let me say that I have been playing guitars for about fifteen years. I have played good guitars, and crappy ones, and I'll just say...
This is a very, very, very cool guitar. If you need a guitar and are strapped for cash, I think this is the best bet. It's compact, but has a big sound. The electronics, are decent, definitely not as durable as say a martin, but fantastic for the price, it also has a built in tuner, so you can do tune checks just about anywhere (one you've got batteries). The guitar is made in China, as all Epiphones tend to be, but inspected in the USA, and the material quality is good. The neck is a bit on the narrow side, and may not be favorable to people with large hands. The tone is uniform throughout the neck and the guitar keeps its tuning very well even after hours of strumming. All in all, I would recommend to someone looking for a decent, afordable, beautiful-looking, acoustic electric. - Good job Epiphone!!!

Great for $300!,

I bought this guitar from Music 123, a little hesitant about buying a guitar that I had never heard. But as soon as I got it I was amazed by how good it sounds, specially plugged in. The thin body makes it very comfortable to play and the strap attaches at both supports on the body which makes it more comfortable than guitars that where you have to tie the strap to the top of the neck. The great looks of this guitar alone make it seem worth more than $300. Overall, I would say get it if you don't want to spend more than $500 for a takamine or yamaha (which sound better, but cost a lot more). Good for doing rythm guitar or leading worship or something like that.

After buying this guitar new, I had to have the neck adjusted now it is so nice I couldnt be more pleased with the sound and action of this guitar. Also the inlays are so beautiful and the golden Grover keys really set it off. Beautiful!
