i got this product for my husband for fathers day, it is extremely difficult to find a case that fits the les paul standard size bass. the case he currently had was a huge rectangle, and difficult to carry. i found this one and ordered it immediately. after ordering it, i realized the measurements said the inside was only 44 1/2 length, i was very worried, since the les paul standard is 46 inches in length. i had not even thought about measuring his bass before i bought this, thinking that since it is made for it, it should be fine. after stressing, waiting for it to come in and worrying about paying to ship it back.. it arrived and the moment of truth came,- it was a perfect fit, snug on the bass body and the exact length for his bass. also, it is very well made, with the side lip coming out far over the edge so the bass will not fall out. the inside is very nice , too, very thick lining with a compartment and a key, in case you need to lock it up. very, very happy with this case, as was my husband when he opened it on fathers day.

I bought this case to match my '96 Epiphone Les Paul standard Bass(34" scale) The case is very sturdy and feels comfortable to carry. The clasps securely hold everything in place and it comes with a key for added security. A great product, I would recommend this to anyone.
