4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, quality case, October 6, 2010

Nice case that fits my Epi Thunderbird perfectly. Big compartment inside for cords, books, etc.
FYI, my case had the full Epiphone name written on it and not just the "E" Logo. It also included 4 small chrome legs on the flat side opposite the logo to protect the case when you lay it down, very cool.

A wonderful case. Looks good on the outside...as it should...solid built...nice sturdy hardware. Inside, plush lining, nice compartment to stash your stuff. Actually makes my bass look small...maybe that means the case is big?...Personally I don't care. I do know it does it's job very well.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fits the new Epiphone Thunderbird Pro V 5-string, November 30, 2011

This review is from: Epiphone Case for Epiphone ThunderBird Bass (Electronics)
The case has plenty of room near the headstock, which is good even for vintage style 'Birds. I imagine it would fit a Gibson 'Bird as well but I don't have one here to try. The case has a nicely molded cavity and fits around the raised center section on the Pro V perfectly. No idea how it'll hold up in the long run but it suits the bass just fine. Covering is well-done but the latches and hinges are not as nice as my TKL and Fender cases. I'd love to see a quality molded SKB-style case that fits a Thunderbird as well as this one does.

4.0 out of 5 stars Only case that will fit this bass - decent for the price, July 26, 2011

This is a decent quality case and the only case that will really fit this bass. There are others out there that say they will fit a Gibson Thunderbird but the Epi version is slightly different so go with this - plus it's way less expensive.

Guitars and basses with irregular shapes can be a pain in the rear to find cases for. The Gibson/Epiphone Thunderbird is one of those. The typical generic bass case has a rectangular body cavity that may or may not work well for the T-bird, and that uncertainty is multiplied when buying online and unable to personally fit it or at least measure it.

Having recently purchased a T-bird, and being unsatisfied with the gig-bag it came with, I wanted a more solid case. It's an Epiphone T-bird, and this is an Epiphone T-bird case, so I bought it with as much piece of mind as possible for an online purchase.

It does fit, and very nicely. My only reservations about the case are that it's a little flimsy (mainly due to the cheap/light hinges -- the latches and protective shell are fine) and it's made in China. Had they made the case with better hinges, I would have given it 5 stars. I don't plan on doing any Samsonite Gorilla imitations, but I don't get the feeling that it could hold up to the same abuse one of my other cases has taken over the last 32 years. However, it does fit perfectly, and provides far more protection and piece of mind than a gig bag.

If you have a T-bird, and you don't want to spend the money for an ATA certified case, this one's for you.

Perfect for the T-bird. Great quality. Holds and protects Bass. Would also work with other fish of similar shape and size.
