Awesome guitar guys. The finish is beautiful and after a little tuning I had it sounding just like I thought it would. There were other reviews saying it doesn't stay in tune and the fret wires were cut too long, but I haven't experienced either one of these. Seriously, if you're a beginner guitarest and want a clean looking good sounding guitar while staying low in price... look no further than this.

After speaking with several musicians and doing more research on this than I've ever done before, I have to say you can't go wrong with this little black beauty.

I didn't expect anything more than basic functionality form this when I bought this simply because I didn't plan on spending a fortune on a guitar I only need to get me through a deployment in Afghanistan. Right out of th box I had dead frets. The neck looked a bit bowed so I loosened the strings to get the truss rod and -gasp- NO TRUSS ROD. But an allen wrench came with it so that became f***ing useless. I even bought a bigger saddle to raise the strings a little higher and perhaps cancel out the dead frets. Nope. After a month it just kept getting worse and worse until I got fed up with this piece of garbage, smashed it, and threw it in the burn pit. I expected a lot more from a guitar with the Gibson name. Hell, I just wanted it to WORK. I've been playing guitar for about 8 so I'd like to think that I know what a guitar should sound like and this guitar was comparable to a FirstAct guitar. It was a complete waste of money.

It looks like a guitar, sounds like a guitar, and plays like a guitar. I bought it to use until I got something better, but it sounds good enough to use for a long time. It will need to be adjusted as it came with the action on the high end and the strings will need to be replaced.

This Guitar is great.Looks beautiful,plays and sounds great.It's made in China,but a sticker on the back of the neck says '100% inspected and setup in U.S.A.Guitar was setup like it should,it was even in tune(ready to play).Strings aren't the best,but that can be fixed(Elixir Light Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings).If Epiphone was good enough for the BEATLES.....For $100,can't be beat.Buy it!

Last December, I wanted to learn how to play guitar. My parents got me this guitar for Christmas, and then it all started. A very nice-looking guitar. Very sleek, and it is nice and large.

I have now had this guitar for 10 months, and 40+ songs learned later, I can tell you it is an amazing guitar. I have not had one single problem with it. It has a very nice sound too it, and it is a great beginner guitar.

The only real downside is it gets dirty easily, but what else can you expect from a black guitar? I recommend Dunlop 65 polish. Makes it look brand new!

It is a great guitar for adult beginners. Do not buy this guitar for young children, because it is very big. For me, being a 16 year old, it is perfectly sized. Highly recommended!

I bought this as my first guitar. It sounds great and stays in tune. It also looks beautiful. The finish and the weight is just perfect. The only problem I am having is that I have very large fingers and it interrupts when I am fretting. Apart from that, I absolutely love this guitar and the price is affordable.

I just bought this guitar after reading all the reviews and needed a guitar to leave at home while I travel with my other one. I just started playing in the last couple of months and wanted something decent so I could get all the practice I could. the guitar came in immediately and I started the inspection on the body after opening it. I was a little disappointed because it looks like they didn't finish dying the bridge and there was a splash of (Red?) from the wood that was used. I strummed on the strings to find that they were tinny which was no surprise from the reviews posted here. Well I finally got around to playing a couple of chords and all of my doubts and problems with it melted away. The only thing that I can say is that the guitar has a great feel along the neck and is super smooth to play. I ended up playing the guitar for an hour before I remembered the mess I had left from the packaging. I never expected a good guitar like this for 100 bucks but am glad that I took a chance. I'm sure that I will buy a better guitar when I get better but will definitely keep this one forever. A very good buy in my opinion.

Bought this guitar just to learn on. I've played other musical instruments while growing up and thought this would make for a good hobby now that i'm older. The guitar arrived in great shape, looks great, does pretty good holding a tune. Glad I got it.

My wife want to give me a guitar as a gift because I love music and want to play guitar. I searched on Amazon and found this guitar. The package is great, well protected my guitar. The guitar looks great and its sound is also beautiful. I really love it. Now I started to learn how to play it. Hope some day I can play beautiful songs for my wife and friends.
