Great short-scale bass!,

Recent Epiphone guitars have been of very high quality and the Allen Woody Bass is no exception. For those bassists who like a Gibson feel, this one rings true. It plays like an old EB-3 and sounds wonderful, getting a rather wide tonal range from the two pickups. Gibson meets Hofner!

This bass far exceeded my expectations. Plugged in or just plain acoustically, it sings. Ran through my Beringer system, it flat shakes the pictures in my practice room. Mr. Woody left us way too soon, and his love for vintage instruments served him well.Allen, your spirit lives on and I thank God for the music you gave to us, and I thank God that you took the time while short on this earth, to get with the fine folks at Epiphone and have this bass built. Jam on my friend, as you were one of the true greats.
