I purchased mine from Guitar Center about a year ago. Guitar is simply beautiful. For my money there has never been a nicer looking guitar than the Les Paul, it just screams classic rock. Very comfortable to play, it isn't a Gibson, but most players don't have the money to purchase a Gibson when they are first starting. The only minor complaint being the stock pick-ups are little muddy. I added a couple of Seymour Duncan humbuckers and had the action lowered which greatly improved the sound and ease of playing. Play this guitar through a Line 6 Flextone and you can have really good tone for under a grand.

Totally great , not so heavy as most guitars ,but deffinity a good buy. Not cheaply made, colors are very magnificent inperson , the old fashion cool guitar look ,with more modern quality. Deffinate must have for people who have experience playing , or want to learn , great starter and a keeper.

I'm a beginning guitar player and was looking for something to use as a starter guitar. I was tempted to buy a starter kit or something in the $200-300 range with an amp since I was just starting but wondered how I would feel as I became a better player. I knew I'd probably want to upgrade the guitar to something nicer than a lower quality guitar but then I would be out the $200 for the starter and then another $500 or so for a better one.I decided to start out spending a bit more than I had planned and it was a great decision. I'm still learning but now know that I will not have to upgrade any time soon because this guitar is so well crafted. It's gorgeous to look at and its appearance is a great motivator to keep practicing! A guitar so lovely to look at deserves a good play. I'm muddling through learning to switch chords but having a blast with this guitar.

I was too crazy to buy leh paul gibson..but the bottom line is if ur budget is not around 3k you cant get nice gibby leh paul.... while this one has the exact tone and style i want and its damn cheap too... its way better than the studio gibson leh paul... which cost around 1200 and I tried some other gib around 2k range but i didn't like them too...try it out... u'll like it.. |
