I love it! Plays great, even high up on the neck near the pickups. Arrived perfectly set up...no intonation problems. Action is great, sound is great...and looks great!Only issue is a pretty bad static hum...not sure what to do about it. Reduces when touching strings...but never completely silent. In summary: very attractive, but constantly makes annoying noise...a description fitting of this bass as well as several women I've dated over the years. UPDATE: The static hum is actually less bad than I originally thought. It's worse for direct-line recording...but running through a bass amp it's pretty manageable...you may just need to tweak your EQ/amp settings a bit. I still do LOVE this bass. |
