This season is super funny and entertaining! It has awesome guests, great sketches, funny games, top notch banter from the whole Nerdist team, funny music from Mike Phirman and others, plus stand up comedy! This is a much watch, especially for Nerdist fans :) <3

If you are a fan of the podcast then the TV show won't disappoint. I enjoy the longer format and unusual guests.

Love Nerdist, Love Chris, Jonah and Matt. All day, erryday. Died laughing at Jonah and Matt's skits. Love how comfortable their guests are during the show. They all crack jokes basically have a blast.

The Nerdist season 2 is a humorous, but passionate celebration of different nerdy sub-genres. Each episode explores a theme like Zombies and celebrates them with sketches, games and casual conversations with people tied to the episodes theme. Fans of Chris Hardwick from The Nerdist podcast of Talking Dead will be familiar with his humor and earnest curiousness that he brings to each interview.

This season was just OK in my book. I am glad they got the chance to push it to a full hour but I feel they lost a bit of geek in the process. The comedy set at the end was great in theory but for most of the comedians it just didnt translate on the old home television box.

The good was they had some great guest that truly seemed they wanted to be there and genuine fun. A couple not to be named seemed cold and that left the segments lacking. The games they played with the guests were fantastic!

All in all a good season, I am hoping BBC Amrca (Yes I spelled it to look rednecky) will give them a 3rd season and we get to see what else they do.

Enjoy your burrito

PS what the hell Phirman? You and CH need to schedule a bit better, you were missed every show you didn't do.

Depending on what you're into, the individual episodes this season so far are very hit or miss. For example, I don't watch Mad Men, Breaking Bad, or Doctor Who, so I had no interest in those episodes, but I do watch Walking Dead, so that one I enjoyed. Definitely not a show you can just pop in any episode and have a good time no matter what.

This show is great! So far this season every episode has had a dedicated chunk of time for a good stand-up comedian that is longer than the average late night talk show usually gives to stand-up. The show is also very funny with the first season being primarily Doctor Who-centric and the second episode revolving around The Walking Dead. It's definitely a tv show about tv shows with some fun games, surprise guests and best of all, stand-up comedy. I'm really glad they've expanded the show to a full season and the 44 minute format wastes no time, in fact it's really impressive to see how much great content they jam into an episode. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes geek-centric shows, stand-up or silly games. I can't wait for the next episode to come out! If I changed anything I would just put more Jonah Ray into the show because he is a delight.
