I loved this show, where do I start? It's just perfect. The Rev. is just barely keeping from having a nervous breakdown, and I just LOVE the Archdeacon. I'd seen Olivia Colman in "Broadchurch", it's nice to see her smiling here. The characters are loonies, and it was fun seeing some big showbiz names guest starring, especially Hugh Bonneville in a recurring guest role, looking like he's having a blast playing the opposite of Lord Grantham.

Both seasons 1 and 2 of this quirky series are for those who love British humor, the Church of England (or any Anglican church),and understand the priests are people, too. Fun characters who skim stereotype but are so real. (I can draw parallels to so many people I know.) Enjoy with a Guiness or a G&T!

I wrote a term paper on the emotional labor of ministers in the media based on this show. Rev. is a whimsical and slightly exaggerated example of the emotional labor ministers experience. It's a brilliant show and well worth the money. Also, it's made by Big Talk Productions. You can't lose with Big Talk. :P

Just the right length for delightful fun. Grew up as a minister's daughter and just had to laugh at the characters and the business of the life.

The subtleties and nuances in both dialog and acting make this series a 5/5-star. I read a new series will be produced in 2014. I surely hope that comes to pass. I'll be waiting for the opportunity to purchase it. Sincerely, No Spring Chicken

Rev. is consistently funny. I hope Amazon will continue to carry the ensuing seasons of the show as it's worth watching.
