Even though it is hard to pick an exact favorite season of SURVIVOR, I can easily say that this season is in my top 5 along with Africa, Australia, Amazon, and Vanuatu. This season brought me one of my favorite castaways in Jonathan Penner. The whole season was memorable (and it had an amesome logo)!!!

I really hope that it comes out on DVD really really soon!!!

Owning this so I can watch it over and over, because of the life lesson, "Never Give Up, Never Give In", and to watch the competitor that stays loyal and has won more challenges than anyone in the history of Survivor, is the only way to go, so I do recommend downloading Amazon's Unbox player/downloader instead of streaming it. The HD quality of playback after downloading it is superb. This is the season to own! This is the most talked about season for good reason!

A great season of Survivor, not to be missed! Lots of backstabbing, conniving, interesting deal making.
Some great new personalities-Ozzie, Parvati, Jonathan Penner -who mix up the game and provide some
interesting twists to the game. Great buy, you will not regret, a season you will want to see again and again.

There is a good reason you'd want to buy this from Amazon. The quality. Sure, you can watch it for free on CBS, but the quality isn't very good. It's streamed and the bitrate (quality) is low. Personally, I want to watch Survivor on my 50" plasma, not on my computer screen. So, I use Unbox + Windows Media Center to make that happen. Survivor from unbox is as good as getting the show directly from my cable provider.

I particularly enjoyed this season because the minority groups had a better than even chance of winning. Every season Survivor invites one and sometimes two African-American people to compete. Once an African-American make it to the final three. It was obvious that it was a joke. Most of the time the African-American or other minority is voted out early. Survivor strides to give everyone an even chance to win but the other contestants are so petty that the 'different person' never wins and rarely gets to the final three. In one season a girl with one leg competed. She was very good and I would have liked to have seen more of her. She was voted out before the merge. In that case the African-American woman said so many vile things about her that it nearly made me sick. This season was made of the 'right stuff'. It was truly a feel good season. Enjoy.
