When the
Star Wars crowd sees this game, they'll probably be reminded of Operation, that classic game where you use little tweezers to pluck body parts out of an unfortunate patient--every time you made a mistake, his red nose would light up and buzz. Although Escape from Naboo is quite similar, this time you're replacing damaged ship parts to fix the hyperdrive on Queen Amidala's elegant Royal Starship. The technology has changed a bit since the '70s, and this type of game has only gotten better: you lift cool chrome parts out of Amidala's 14-inch-long transport with futuristic forceps, plugging each piece's cord into the hyperdrive as you try to beat a variable time limit. And, way better than a jarring buzzer, actual character voices from
Phantom Menace cheer you on!
