This is a realy cool verson of Vader's lightsaber. It extends to over 60cm!It also has very cool sounds that are motion activated! When you move it from side to side,it makes the cool "woosh" sound. And when it makes contact with another object,it makes the "clash"sound. When you turn it on,the blade lights up,and it makes the signature lightsaber humming sound! This is a very cool and afordable lightsaber, suitable for all fans of Star Wars.

THIS LIGHTSABER IS DA BOMB!!!, May 30, 2005
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is a great toy for anyone. Even if you are not interested in Star Wars(who isn't)its a great thing to play with. Make sure you have someone to play with though! If you hit something it makes a clash sound. If you swing it around, it makes a whoosh sound. When you turn it on, it makes the classic low humming noise and lights up. The only bad thing about it is the fact that the bottom part never goes into the hilt. But, other than that, this is the best lightsaber toy out there!

You Don't Know The Power of This Lightsaber..., June 10, 2005

This Darth Vader lightsaber is a remake of the original Darth vader lightsaber released in the late 1990's. However, it is also an upgrade from the one that was released years back.
The first upgrade is that the blade light is now red (most of the new ones, like Obi-Wan's and Yoda's have a light that is the color of the blade, to make it look more realistic) instead of just a regular white light that the old one had. The sounds have been upgraded as well, with the activation noise and the deactivation noise sounding more like a real lightsaber. Also, the sound quality is a lot better then the older one. The handle has not chnaged any from the old one(except for the copyright date).
Also, it appears that all the Revenge of the Sith line of lightsabers have a special feature that previous releases never had. in the case of Darth Vader(Also, I think, Count Dooku's, Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu, and The Jedi lightsabers) have sounds that are motion activated. This works whenever you move the lightsaber. when you do, It makes a sort of whoosh sound that ROTS Anakin's, Yoda's and Obi-Wan's lightsabers do not make, which, like I said, is a special add on for this lightsaber. This lightsaber is highly recommnded for those who collect lightsabers or who like to play with them.
However, do be careful with how hard you swing it at objects. It does tend to dent and bend on the blade(my old one has the scares of a hard battle I had with a friend a few years back).
