The 777i prints a typical page of black text in less than eight seconds (8 ppm) and color text and graphics (for example, a captioned 4-by-6-inch photo) in about 90 seconds. A typical 8-by-10-inch photo takes a little over three minutes.
The 777i features special quick-drying inks that resist smearing. Black ink lasts for 600 pages of printed text, and color ink lasts for 300 pages. You can print on a wide range of materials--plain paper, glossy film, backlight film, matte paper heavyweight, photo paper, adhesive card stock, transparencies, iron-on transfers, banners, labels, envelopes, various watercolor papers, and more.
The 777i's accompanying software includes Corel Print House 2000 for photo editing and greeting cards, Epson Software Film Factory for image editing, and Trellix Web for creating Web pages.
The Epson 777i is compatible with both PC and Mac and accepts color covers designed to match iMacs. It measures 17.7 by 10.1 by 6.8 inches and weighs 8.4 pounds. It's backed by a standard one-year warranty.

Not bad for a $99 printer,

I bought Epson 777i mainly because of its USB connectivity and price. I agree with another reviewer about the phsical size of the printer: though not bulky, it does take up space. Easy installation and setup, good printing quality and a hard-to-beat retail price make this printer a good bargain. Fyi, Epson 777 and 777i printers are identical except for the printer lid and color.

As far as the physical dimensions...,

I bought this printer hoping it would be somewhat compact (as it had been advertised). However, it is not compact and feels quite large. The design is compact, yes, it is not bulky. But, it is big. People who live is small apartments might find this information useful.

This is my 4th Epson printer and as usual, I am very happy. The installation was the easiest I've ever seen. I bought this one because of the price and the print quality..my Epson Stylus 740 seemed to be out of style. :) ( But STILL working with no problems ) I have been very happy with not only the black and white photos I've printed but the color as well. For the price..jump on it!
