Just a little background in my home theater experience I was always wanted to have Home Theater so I decided to buy at low cost projector if you want to spend money on projector sky is limit. When I bought Epson 725HD, I was not confident on bulb life and value on these concerns I will definitely update my review in future.
When I placed the order Amazon Customer Service messed up and support was not great but after few calls it was resolved. I will give low rating to Amazon service but will not affect Projector review.
I have used Dell, Benq, Optoma and Epson Projectors.
Review: It is an good value and delivers a good theater experience in my living room....
Here's a brief outline of features and my impression of them:

Resolution:
The three biggest features most people look for when talking about projectors are resolution, contrast ratio, and lumens. The resolution of this projector is 720p 1280 x 800. This is little far from full HD, which is the majority of content I'll be viewing, but the picture is classic! I usually view the blu ray version of new movies and I stream HD all the time from different sources.
In first week I always compared my HD laptop screen and Projector screen side by side when I watched Sports, Movies, Few TV seasons, Presentation and documentary. Although the picture was slightly better (Deep black, Blue shades) on the LED screen, nothing compares to watching on a big screen. The picture was very sharp and amazing.

Contrast Ratio:
12,000:1 contrast ratio. A high-contrast projector produces a picture with a deep black level and clearly defined shadow detail. Contrast, in essence, gives "depth" to video images. A projector with excellent contrast can make a two-dimensional image appear almost three-dimensional.

Style Name: 3000 Lumens Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I am a TV/Movie addict who has purchased 8 HDTV's (Sony's last CRT, Pioneer Kuro, Mits DLP and 6 LG LCD/LED models) in the last 8 years, always looking for a bigger, better, brighter picture with less artifacts (banding on solid color scenes, judder and flashlighting issues) I currently use a 55inch LG 9600 w/full array local dimming. It has some issues but works well for my needs. However, I always wished I could get a larger picture for movie viewing but 17 grand for an 84 inch screen is a bit much for me.

Upon unpacking this Epson I thought the unit itself was a bit smaller than I had expected but that was fine with me. Screen size was the only "Size" I was interested in. I connected my Oppo BDP-95 via HDMI for testing. I tried Blu Ray and DVD source material, along with some MKV's , streamed thru the Oppo. After initial testing I added a Darbee Darblet processor to the end of the signal chain. (more on that later) I use a Harmony One remote and Logitech has all the Epson codes so it is easy to control your Epson projector and eliminate the need for their remote. Operating the zoom and focus functions are easy and you can always refer to the CD-ROM manual that is included. I recommend looking it over at least once.

Set-Up was very easy and within a few minutes I had a fully focused and geometrically perfect picture up on a white painted wall. (a screen is coming soon) I opted for approx 200 inches in diameter and just the size of the image alone had me floored! This REALLY is a big bright colorful image!

I confess to being somewhat of a doubter regarding home projectors at this price point and nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see and experience after firing this bad boy up! CRIKEY!

**edit** I forgot to mention I am projecting this from the top of a tv tray too. If you are concerned about needing to mount it, you don't. One more thing, the fan in the front does get warm fairly quickly. Not an issue if you are sitting left it and want to place remote next to it, sitting right of it you'll want to put remote left side of it.

If you are considering getting a projector get this one, if you don't need 3d, and want to project an image during daylight hours with windows. I use this for football today, and yesterday in a living room that has a sliding glass door with a patio (which I assume helps block out some light too) and the image is clear, without the use of a screen. I'm projecting an image about 10' feet wide and 6' high on a white textured wall and it looks great. It took about 5 seconds of tinkering with the lens adjustment nob at the front of the projector I was able to make the image sharp, and rivals a 1080p LCD Samsung tv, no joke. Because the image is on a wall, there is some spots on bottom when you can see a lil of the texture but its minimal. The price on this is outstanding for the image and the clarity. Last night my uncle stopped by because he was thinking of getting a projector a few years back and it blew him away. If you want 3d and 1080p, then go with the 2030, I doubt you can go wrong with any of the new epson home cinema projectors. If you want to save some money, then the 730HD is def the way to go.

Style Name: 2800 Lumens Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I bought the less expensive version of this projector earlier this year (Epson V11H584220 PowerLite Home Cinema 500 Silver Edition SVGA 2600 Lumens HDMI Projector (White)). The less expensive one is very similar to this one, except the output is SVGA instead of 720p HD. I had been very happy with the SVGA projector, but I'm even happier with this one. They are both very high quality and easy to use.

This projector is brighter and has a higher resolution (720p HD).

This projector is fantastic for home movies or for office presentations. It's portable enough to take with you or it can be mounted upside down for permanent mounting. However, if you use this as a portable projector, you'll need a carrying bag for it. The user's manual lists this bag as the right one for this projector: ELPKS60 Soft Carrying Case, but it doesn't have any padding and isn't suitable for travel. It's a shame that they don't include a case for this much money--I'm not sure why it's not included.

Setup and operation is very simple. It has a good selection of signals: HDMI, USB, S-Video, RCA, and VGA. For full 720p HD signal you should use the HDMI connection. If you are using a computer with a DVI or DisplayPort connection, you'll need an adapter like this DisplayPort adapter: DisplayPort to HDMI Male to Female Cable Adapter.

I also like the fact that you don't have to cool it down before you turn it off.
