I purchased this ink because they claim it is compatible with the CX7400. It definitely is not; the cartridge is too big to fit in the slot. However, I sent the company an email and they replied about a week later saying I could receive a refund, but did not need to return the cartridges. I got the refund a few days later and just recycled the cartridges.

I picked up an Epson cx9400F for around $100. I have a separate dedicated printer that I use only for photos. The Epson is mainly for printing invoices, making copies of documents, or printing out web pages. Nothing critical. This is the main reason why I just couldn't grasp paying over $60 for genuine Epson ink, especially when the ink that came with my printer only lasted about 3 months on very light use!

I was worried that the ink wouldn't be recognized but I had no problems at all. I popped them in and the Epsons LCD said "charging ink". A few seconds later it said "ink is ready", and that was that!

I printed out a few test pages and everything looked great. The printer didn't need any adjustments or head cleaning. I'm just extremely happy to have found compatible ink for a fraction of the price. These printer companies should be ashamed charging as much as they do for ink replacements. Even going as far as to try and sue competing ink distributors and purposely trying to make their printers incompatible with other ink.

BEWARE. This product is being advertised as being compatible with the Epson CX8400 but the ink cartridges are NOT COMPATIBLE. My Epson printer would not even recognize the ink cartridges and said they are not compatible. I know this seems like a great deal. I was delighted when I saw the price (much cheaper than from Epson). But this product is not as advertised. Better off buying directly from Epson and spending the money. This company should stop advertising as being compatitible when the product is not. I wasted time and money -- having to pay to ship the product back and wait for a refund. NOT WORTH IT.

I picked up two sets for my NX415, and they work like a charm. The black cartridge required a head cleaning before it would print properly, but has been fine ever since. I will definitely buy these again.

With this one, I needed to do head cleaning more than 10 times and finally it became okay. But after I printed out just 10 pages, my cx7400 stopped printing saying that ink level was too low!!! I am not sure whether the ink that I received was a defective one or not. But I don't want to buy this one in the future again.

When I first received this item I was a bit thrown back by the packaging - but fear not!!! This is the same exact as the epson brand, and it works just as well. Such a great deal!!!

Don't buy these for your Epson printer. My CX8400 doesn't always recognize the cartridges because they are not "genuine". When this happens the printer doesn't work at all. Don't waste your money, buy a new printer.

Total waste of money. I think you have to buy the recommended ink for the printer, even though buying ink can be expensive. Totally disappointed.

I have an epson stylus nx105 printer and I just bought this 4 pack of ink. I installed the black ink cartridge as I normally would. Everything went great. My printer read the cartridge, charged it and prints flawlessly. I highly recommend buying this specific ink. Be careful with other inks. These were packaged the same way epson inks are packaged--they come with a sticker you must remove before inserting, are completely air tight in plastic and then in cardboard box. Can't beat it!
