Easy to replace but none of the HP cartridges last very long.

I think ink cartridges are a rip-off, and I can't find a way to recycle Epson cartridges, so will not buy that brand again.
Kathy Hughes-kohrer
Great deal and much more convenient buying it online then getting it in stores.

Some Epson printers support multiple types of ink cartridges. For instance the Epson Stylus NX415 supports the black series 68, 69, and 88. (T068120, T069120, and T088120) They will all print the same quality. But they have dramatically different amounts of ink.

Pages per cartridge:
T068120: 370 pages
T069120: 245 pages
T088120: 170 pages

Prices per page based on current Amazon prices (as of this writing, including shipping)
T068120: 5.9 cents/page
T069120: 6.8 cents/page
T088120: 7.5 cents/page

So if your printer supports it buy the 68 series black cartridges, it'll save you switching out as much and save you money over the long haul.

Do yourself a favor, and buy any brand but Epson. The ink seems to dry up in the cartridges in a matter of a few weeks, and on the NX400 you can't print if *any* cartridge is empty, so you have to open a new one even if you don't need that color for the job you're printing. It's an obvious ploy to sell more ink.

Personally, I'll never buy another Epson printer because of the high cost of ink.

It's replacement ink. It is black. But as usual with any replacement cartridge for any printer - they don't seem to last for a darn. These guys are into making money. Not on the printers, but on the consumables. Can't they give us a decent amount of INK in the darn cartridges that are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced for the STUPIDLY tiny amount of ink in them?
come on!

The picture of this product shows 4 ink cartridges. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black.
In reality, the package I received had no black ink. Amazon says they will not send the correct item even though they are responsible for the item description and it was shipped from their warehouse.

No doubt about the other reviews with the other folks frustrations. The printer is fine and prints nice and fast. What is totally unsatisfactory is the ink cartridge capacity. I'm not sure if it dries in the cart, or the printer pulls in a lot of ink when doing a nozzle check, or Epson puts 10 drops of ink in these cartridges; but something is horribly wrong when I can't print more than 40 pages over 6 months and have the carts go empty! What is even worse, if you have just one cart go out, you can't continue your print in pure black and you're stuck not being able to do a thing until you fork over the money and get that cart replaced. Not fun if you need an emergency print of directions or something for a trip.

I will never buy another Epson again. HP's are a little more expensive, but damn it, if you don't at least get print time on their carts. I'm sure some marketing genius figured they would make their money on carts. No more, I'm frustrated and will just toss my CX6000 in the trash. Bah!

DON'T BUY FROM THIS SELLER...Seller listed items with photos and text Epson Originals refurbished, using UltraBrite inks. Contacted seller why order is 1-week late shipping, when already emailed Tracking Number, said order canceled because I gave him 1-star rating for last order, 25-percent ink full and only makes lines. Poorest Quality product I have ever used. So this means, if you don't give sellers 5-star ratings, you can't buy from them anymore? I reported him to Epson USA which said he cannot legally use their images, text and specifications - selling Generics. Also reported to Amazon POOR business Code of Ethics. I think Epson USA will be contacting seller and Amazon about falsely soliciting business....

This ink works fine. If Epson printer does not provide a good image quality, check out printer (mine had issues with default profile, and occasionally left some white stripes, but after I switched from "Text" to "Text with images" it prints fine. Anyways, this ink is really good.

I did not know that epson offered a color multipack in the high capacity cartridges (68 instead of 69), which will hopefully increase the time between changes. Plus, it was a better price than regular cartridges. No problems to report yet after one month.
