I rate the (S041289) Epson high-gloss premium photo paper a 10 star product. I use the Epson R1900 printer and the colors match my digital pictures perfectly. I have used other photo paper and I think the Epson paper is superior to the other brands. The price and service at Amazon was excellent.

This paper works excellent with the R1800. The gloss optimizer that the printer uses gives it a great wet look that beats anything a lab can produce. You would easily pay 10 dollars and up per photo for the quality you are getting.

I have one complaint - and I wish that Amazon would listen. When I order large, 13x19, paper, Amazon ships it in a HUGE box filled with all sorts of brown crumbled paper. I think this is incredibly wasteful and I'm trying to source large paper locally just to avoid the amount of paper that is consumed in sending it.

Amazon - please send this in a smaller, more reasonable box!

If you want a printer paper that is one step above Epson's regular glossy paper, this paper is recommended. It is a little whiter and brighter and shows more detail than matte paper.

Consistent quality, consistent performance across Epson and Canon printers is all you can ask of standard grade photo papers and this paper delivers. It is bright white and on the cool side, a good neutral choice for standard snapshot printing. Comes in a heavy cardboard portfolio which is great for storage since this is not a commonly used size - allows for vertical storage without distorting the paper.
