5.0 out of 5 stars Best daily-use inkjet paper out there.
I've been using this paper for years and I'm consistently impressed by its quality. If you're using plain old photocopier-grade bond paper in your printer, moving up to this paper will be a massive improvement. You'll be shocked at how much brighter the colors coming out of your printer are, and how much sharper text and fine lines are. This is an excellent paper for...

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very satisfied for the price
This paper arrived in a box that was torn at the edges (a complaint noted by another customer as well). The paper was not damaged, though. The paper is bright and a nice thickness, as expected, but several sheets of paper in the ream had small dark spots on them due to imperfections in the paper fibers. It was noticeable enough that I had to reprint several resumes. I...

This is an excellent paper for day-to-day inkjet printing, even if you don't have an Epson printer. One caveat: The paper doesn't stand up well to heavy ink (e.g., printing a full-color photograph at high resolution). Use a glossy and/or coated paper for that. However, as this statement is true for all non-coated papers I don't penalize Epson for it.

This is a very bright, white paper with enough thickness (4.3 mil, 24 lb) that you can print on both sides without seeing through it. Compared to most other ordinary printer papers, this is definitely superior. And at about the same price as cheaper papers as well.
My usual previous favorite was Kodak Bright White, which apparently is no longer made. This Epson paper is quite similar.
For the price, this is THE paper to use for everyday printing.

This is great paper. It does make a difference. It's worth the price. It's also nice having it delivered insteading of lugging it back from the store.

5.0 out of 5 stars All printer paper is NOT the same, October 6, 2007
This review is from: Epson Premium Bright White Inkjet Paper, 108 ISO/96 US Brightness, Letter Size, 500 Sheets (S041586) (Office Product)
Frankly, I ordered this paper since it qualified for free shipping and looked pretty nice. The "bright white" aspect is subjective. It is very white, if that helps. The thing I found very nice is the weight. At 24#, it is just what the Doctor ordered for my Canon Pixma printer. I had not been happy with the print quality and was thinking maybe this printer was too old (1.5years) and needed to be replaced. I had been using standard printer paper..don't know the weight/thickness, but certainly no more than 20#.
My printer loves this paper. Print quality is crisp, with no blurring, and no smudging. The paper has a good solid durable feel to it as well. Yes, it cost's a bit more, but in this case, very much worth it. By the way, did I make it clear that it doesn't matter what KIND of printer you have? Just cause this paper is from Epson doesn't mean you MUST have an Epson printer. I know most of you probably know this, but some folks might be confused. It works with any printer. Good stuff.

Even Staples branded paper is more consistent in quality, at a little more than half price when on sale.

The brightness of this paper makes it an excellent choice for cd/dvd covers, cover letters, spreadsheets, and possibly even photos. Things you shouldn't use this paper for would be doodles, directions to Hooters, shopping lists, a hat, a bow tie , or a pterodactyl.

This is a terrific general-purpose inkjet paper. It's my paper of choice for my Epson printer. Jams are extremely rare (averaging less than once per ream, unlike the big box office store brands, which jam all too often).

Although not noted in amazon's product description, this is a 24-pound (rather than 20-pound) paper. Two pluses and one minus to the heavier paper: (1) it just feels more solid than 20-pound, which makes it great for letters and such, and (2) it's better for two-sided printing; however, if you tend to push the limit when snail-mailing lots of pages, you have to allow for the slightly heavier weight.

The only paper that I have tried that comes close to Epson Premium Inkjet paper is Hammermill Premium Inkjet (which may not even be available any more).

I recently tried this paper to use with my HP inkjet printer that is about two years old. I am very impressed. In fact, this multipurpose 108 brightness paper (yes, that's what they advertise, 108 brightness) by Epson gives you something to sing about! I use this paper with my inkjet printers; and I can use it to make signs to tape to my front door indicating to delivery people which doorbell to ring! Actually, it's good for just about anything I need to print with my inkjet printer, including intense colors or artwork from a webpage that I want to keep in printed form for my records. The paper may "buckle" ever so slightly if you have to print a large square, circle or rectangular shape in a single color; but this "buckling" isn't too noticeable.

In addition, this paper practically never jams in my printer at home. Nevertheless, I always fan the paper to make extra certain that it doesn't jam. After I fan the paper to make sure two pieces of paper aren't stuck to each other, then I place it in my inkjet printer tray.

Each page is a clean cut 8 ½ inches by 11 inches. Great! Although they don't say this, I would imagine that this paper can also be used in copiers, plain paper fax machine and maybe even in laser printers. If you want to use this paper with laser printers, print out a test page or two before you buy several reams.

This paper never "goes stale," so stock up on it if you can catch a sale on it. As of this writing, the Amazon price seems a bit high so check with Amazon to make sure that the above price is correct.

In any event, this is excellent paper; and I highly recommend this product.

Cheap, thick paper. Plus this way I get to avoid those creeps at Office Depot.
