4.0 out of 5 stars Its pretty sweet if you use it on a EPSON 440!
I don't think it works that well on most printers, but it works sweet on the EPSON 440. Plus it isn't all that expensive so if you have the EPSON 440 you should definetly get it. The quality is photo-clear and can match with most other photo-papers in the market right now!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Paper curl
Great paper. Convenient to print large numbers of prints. But, it comes off the roll curved and no amount of effort can straighten it. Wish it were not so.

5.0 out of 5 stars Use the roll paper !, September 26, 2002

I use an Epson 1280. The prints are great.

In order to have borderless prints at 2880 dpi, your only alternative is to use the roll paper. If you want borderless prints and you use sheets, then you can only print at 1440 dpi. With the roll paper, you can achieve that at 2880dpi. That's why it is best to use the roll paper.

I have read some reviews here that complain about the curl of the paper. It is simple to correct this. I do my prints and then let them stay on a long roll for 24 hours to dry. Then you simply roll the paper in the opposite direction of the curl and then when you unroll, the paper is straight and ready to be cut. It's that simple.

4.0 out of 5 stars Paper great; Curls Not great, December 18, 2002
This review is from: Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy, 4" x26' Roll, (S041302) (Office Product)
This is great paper for printing 4x6 pictures. I used it on my 785EPX and also on my 825. You can't tell the difference between photolab & the printed one. The quality is EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, you can't get the pictures to lie flat no matter what you do. I've laid heavy books on the pictures and the still pop-up. It's easier to use Epson 4 X 6 Borderless Photo Paper, same quality, but the pictures are flat.

GREAT FOR LOTS OF PHOTOS AT ALL ONE TIME When you have a bunch of photos to print this is the way to go.

INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DO IT (FILM FACTORY) COME WITH THE PRINTER AND WORK GREAT Epson provides instructions how to set this up, so there is just no waste and it prints very smoothly and very quickly.

SINCE NO SEPARATE PAPER FEED PRINTS VERY FAST. Usually the thing that takes a long time in a printer is the paper queuing up. Getting it all set up and then fed in. This eliminates that.

HAVE DONE 40-45 PHOTOS THIS WAY AND ALL TURNED OUT AS EXPECTED I used up the free roll they give you with an order of an Epson 890 (worth about 20 4X6 prints) and then came back for more.

NO WASTE, EASY TO SET UP AND REMOVE This is easy to set up, no waste and easy to take down.

THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS CURL The only negative is the strong curl your prints have. A night or two under a book helps.

Great product, I'm coming back for more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great on the Epson 875DC and 875 DCS...., February 23, 2001

I'm not sure how well this would work on other printers, but for the Epson Stylus Photo 875DC and 875DCS, it's great. These printers actually come with a roll attachment that allows you to slide on this banner roll and print. Plus, the drivers actually allow you to specify that you're printing off this roll and on this type of paper. It's great, easy as pie, and HIGHLY recommended.

The print quality on this Glossy photo paper is also incredible. I've experienced no fading problems so far, and I treat my photos like any user would (ie: throw them on the desk and sorta forget about them until I clean).

4.0 out of 5 stars I love this paper, June 12, 2001

This paper makes your photos look great - especially when printed on an Epson 875 DCS printer! Noone can believe that my prints came from my house - not the developer. My only complaints are that sometimes the paper is hard to feed in to the printer and that it is still rounded after printer. I have solved this by wrapping the paper the opposite direction after the ink is dry and my photos are much less rounded. Otherwise, I would have rated this a perfect 5 stars!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great quality, bad curl, September 16, 2002
This review is from: Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy, 4" x26' Roll, (S041302) (Office Product)
I like the other reviewers had much luck with this paper. The quality is gorgeous, people can't tell that my prints are from a printer and not from a developer. I have an Epson 890 printer and a Kodak DX3900 3.1 Megapixel camera.

I did notice a couple of things, the colors come out much richer than they appear on the screen. It takes some playing around with the settings on the printer. Another thing is that prints look a little different right out of the machine then they do when they dry. And it does say to allow 24 hours to dry.

Some advice, cut the prints as you go, otherwise you have a 4 foot long curl and you have to touch all of the prints to seperate them for proper drying.

Also the curl is BAD. They give you a plastic sheet to wrap your photos in to unravel the curls but it takes two or three times to make them lay flat. Its like a poster, you have to roll it the wrong way to make the curl come out. I suggest waiting until the photos are dry and rolling them as tight as possible. Even then the curl isn't completely out for good. Its out enough to hang them on the wall (I hang mine with only one magnet). The ends curled up again a little after a couple of minutes but its not bad enough to make the photos separate themselves from the wall.

The quality is great, the prints are great, if you're going to mount them in frames or an album then you will have no problems. Even with the curl its not bad enough to make me not buy another roll.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant pictures, lively colors, April 15, 2002
This review is from: Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy, 4" x26' Roll, (S041302) (Office Product)
These are premium glossy photo papers; The ink dries instantly the picture colors and quality match regular 35mm prints. Don't settle for less; recently I purchase low quality Kodak high gloss paper, the price is less 200 4x6 sheets for $[money], but the results are disastrous. The ink smudges because it does not dry as quickly, and the surface is sticky, you can not insert it into the photo album's clear plastic envelopes, and the pictures are grainy not as smooth as epsons photo paper.

I have used two whole rolls of this in my (new last year) Epson Photo 890 printer. I printed about ~40 Christmas photos last year and nobody could tell these were not professional prints.

You do have to read and remember the procedure to align the paper and the paper handling mechanisms, but that's to be expected. Also, it takes a little hunting to find the proper settings in all the print dialog setup windows, but it's pretty easy overall.

One complaint: it takes a lot of effort to get the curl out of the prints.
