Better since I figured out how to use it.
Well, when the item finally arrived it was not what it looks like in the image on this page. Not that it is such a big deal, but without a packing slip and finding loose boxes in an envelop was not what I was expecting. Moving past the shipping, I am using the product now. leaky
The PRITOP compatible inks tend to leak and run dry quickly. I suspect they contain less ink than other Epson "compatibles".

Well, when the item finally arrived it was not what it looks like in the image on this page. Not that it is such a big deal, but without a packing slip and finding loose boxes in an envelop was not what I was expecting.
Moving past the shipping, I am using the product now. Put it in immediately as I was out of ink and needed to print. Well, it is messy! I was surprised at that! No instructions either. Sorry to say. I guess we are to know that you need to snap off the little thingy in the back where it "snaps" into place. LOL I could not close my cover and kept pushing and then thought I had the wrong model... as I was trying to take the cartridge out the little piece popped out! And Wha-La... the cover closed. What is the messy part you ask? You have to pull the little tape off of the top and ink immediately seeps out! As I pressed it into the printer...my thumb was covered in ink which got on other things as I was trying to close the case...and so...it was messy. Perhaps you can fare better by learning from my mistakes... Do not remove the tape until you have it seated in place in the printer...and remove the little... whatever it is... before trying to push it down into place. And finally, if you are in a hurry to get ink...consider something else that will arrive more expediently. As for performance. Draft mode is rather a pale brown but legible. full ink is BLACK!! I have not used it enough to see how long a cartridge will last. Additional note added 14 May, 2010 Okay, so I decided to print in full black and the pages look great. The ink does not smudge and it seemed to last as long as any other Epson cartridge I have used. This time when I changed it out I kept the tape over that "hole" as I suggested previously and this time, no mess!!!
