My printer isn't quite as bad on ink as the above reviewer's, but it still goes through ink at an incredible rate -- I've never seen a printer like it.
Don't buy this printer unless you want to take out a second mortgage just to pay for ink!
Epson has some explaining to do with this one!

I got this printer a month back or so.
I used is it to print hardly some 10 to 15 copies over the month.
Most of the times I went to advanced settings and said use black ink only as it was just some documents and nothing that needed color.
And with these few copies the black ink catridge is almost over ? Wondering if there is something I am doing wrong. If 15 copies need one full cartridge that is almost more than a $ for each page...Any other users ?
No complaints on the quality otherwise.

I have had my C88 for 2 weeks and printed @ 300 pages of primarily ebay and other web stuff. I use 3 different color settings depending on the quality output I need: draft, text, and text & image, but primarily text. Ink cartridges are still over half full, with the exception of the black, which is a third full. Use the text or draft setting and you will get fast, quality prints and use minimal ink. Print quality is great, ink is waterproof and smudgeproof. Insatllation was a breeze, web print feature is great to cature entire screen. I have had a few "jam" notices when I had no jams, but easily cleared. I have not tried it on photos, but it is not a photo printer. This is the 5th Epson I've owned, and I own a Canon photo printer. Epson software is superior, as is their printers in my opinion. All of my old Epsons are still in use by relatives and neighbors with no problems.
