If you have one of these relatively high-end, archival printers, only use genuine Epson ink. I tried using the cheaper substitutes a few years ago and they clogged up my printer. I had to spend $100+ to get the thing professionally cleaned. Never again.

I used generics of this kind and results were poor. The difference was night and day when I used the oem cartridges. You pay a little more but you will yield better results.

These cartridges are very good and very reliable. I have not had any trouble with them. The color is good and the results are just what I see on the monitor. Even though this last comment is dependant on the printer and its interface with the computer, the cartridges themselves must contain a quality of ink within them in order for the printer to give obtimum results. These cartridges have this quality.
