Simple to install. Includes instructions and the tools you need. It also include a new filter which I didn't expect.

BTW: The instructions warn you that the bulb has mercury in it and you need to dispose of it properly.

I didn't know what to look for when replacing my Epson S1 projector (it began to only project green). All the comments about interlacing 720 vs 1080 or whatever was very helpful. Net, net, it is a HUGE improvement and really is clear. I have it on the ceiling front projected on a a screen. I was so impressed I went out and got a Bluray player ([...]) with Netflix and Youtube online enabled. SO COOL! I can now watch movies in HD, download movies from Netflix, and watch videos on Youtube. I did buy the 25 ft HDMI cord to connect the new player to the projector. The projector also has an S-video input so I kept my old player and my old S-video cable but connected it to the new projector. I didn't think the projector had that input so I was surprised. The only setup that i did was to get the ceiling front projected image so it was not upsidedown. This was petty easy and was documented in the manual. I didn't do ANYTHING else. Amazing. The manual talks about potential issues with different interlace rates or frame speeds, blah blah blah. I dreaded having to even read about it or have to solve an issue. But I had NO PROBLEMS and it just worked right away for both the s-video and HDMI connections. Highly recommended.
