5.0 out of 5 stars KO (KNOCK OUT)
I use this sleep aid for my long hal international flights that are over 13 hours long at times. I usually take 2 pills after about an hour after take off and within 30-45 mins I am out like a light until about an hour before we land with little or no groggy feeling. I defiantly do not recommend any more then 2 tabs in 24 hour period. The box says take 1 tab but depending...

3.0 out of 5 stars CHEAPER AT WALMART
You can purchase these for about $4.00 At Walmart. Same strength, same amt of soft gels. I have found they don't work for me as well as the Unisom Brand, but they are much less expensive.

4.0 out of 5 stars *** ABILITY TO FALL ASLEEP AND STAY ASLEEP ***, March 31, 2010
This review is from: Equate - Nighttime Sleep Aid 50 mg, Maximum Strength, 32 Softgels (Compare to Unisom SleepGels) (Health and Beauty)
I RECENTLY WAS INTRODUCED TO THESE BY MY MOM AND TO MY SUPRISE- THEY SEEM TO WORK. I PURCHASED THE MAXIMUM STRENGTH GEL CAPSULES 32 COUNT. I FIND THESE SMALL AND EASY TO SWALLOW. THEY GLIDE DOWN VERY SMOOTH. I TAKE 1 ABOUT 1 HOUR PRIOR TO BEDTIME AND I EASE INTO A VERY RELAXED STATE. I FIND THAT THESE EFFECTS ARE SIMILAR TO IF YOU HAD TAKEN A BENADRYL ALLERGY TABLET. MY RESULTS WERE THE EASE OF FALLING ASLEEP AND THE ABILITY TO STAY ASLEEP. NO NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS. NO NEED TO HAVE A PRESCRIPTION WRITTEN AND THE HORRIBLE CONS ASSOCIATED WITH TAKING THOSE AIDES. GOOD LUCK. WORTH THE COUPLE OF BUCKS TO TRY.

Product works to make your body feel fatigued once you hit the sack. It is not very good at getting you wound down like melatonin products. Overall they work to get me to sleep and I will use the whole bottle; not too sure if I'll buy another though..

If you buy this product,m please try the minimum strength first. I made the mistake of buying the 50 mg.soft gels and laid awake all night because they caused spasms every two or three minutes or whenever I tried to sleep. I finally got to sleep after 7AM but only slept for 3 hours.and felt drugged all day and the day after. I had to resume the Ambien tablets which I am trying to avoid. I haven't tried the lesser dosage and truthfully don't think I want to chance it...

5.0 out of 5 stars Work great!, July 8, 2010

These work fine. They are equivalent to Unison maximum strength diphenhydramine 50 MG gelcap's. They do the job but don't expect to feel too refreshed because the quality of your sleep will be diminished from taking these drugs which do not allow quality R.E.M. sleep.

As a sidebar, I must inform you that Equate is a Walmart brand and these are under five dollars there.
