This is an unfortunate effort in that the ultrasound images that ought to be the highlight of this text are just simply inadequate. Far to many of the ultrasound images are too bright and lack resolution. They do not clearly demonstrate the various lesions. In fact, anyone who uses this text to learn either what a diagnostic image is, or how to interpret an image will be sorely disappointed. The exceptions are the cardiology images and the reproductive images. The text is okay, but with the poor images I would look elsewhere.
