Good book on the basics of equine ultrasound. Good on expanding my knowledge base: I'm a small animal internist who is learning about equine. I am not sure if there is a more current edition, and I believe this is now out of print, so get one while you can!

Needs updated pictures,

I am an equine practitioner and have borrowed this book on occaision to try to compare images, but the book images are of poor quality, particularly compared to the newer ultrasound machines out there today. On more occaisions than not the quality was so poor on the images that it wasn't any help. Unfortunately I think someone needs to print a more current version with updated pictures.
