I don't know why my oem adapters are failing but I'm glad I have this as a option for not so hard on the wallet replacement for my t500 adapter. Looking at the company branded adapters and their replacement cost I'm starting to think they do it on purpose as another source of income. Well anyway it works great havent had any problems, it runs a lot cooler then the oem model yet it's cheaper(go figure)

adapter died about a week ago I've contacted the company will see what happens, I'm not too upset it died given the price but it certainly is a inconvience and rather expensive to keep replacing adapters for the life of my laptop.

This AC Adapter worked perfectly on my Lenovo ThinkPad T400 for five days... Then it went dead as a door nail.

Junk.

I got this adapter because I left mine behind on a trip. Had it expedited and everything. Got it in three days. The thing screeches whenever power is drawn through it into the computer and it gets pretty hot. The noise alone is enough to make it unusable, and it probably won't last long with the overheating. To return it takes an RMA from the seller which has to be contacted separately (not like returning through Amazon which is easy), and I am not going to bother.

I would definitely discourage anyone from buying this adapter unless you want to roll the dice on whether you get a good one or a bad one - or get it through Amazon where you can just click on the return button next to what you ordered and send it back if you do get a bad one.
