Product Description

Size Name: 1-Pack

ntroducing the easiest way to fill holes and cracks in drywall, plaster, and wood. One of the hottest products on the home market, Erase A Hole has won several awards and has been featured in print articles and on HGTV. Erase A Hole allows you to patch holes in drywall, plaster, and wood in two easy steps. Rub the special applicator across the hole in a circular motion until it is filled and then wipe off the excess. The patch dries without shrinking to an even, unnoticeable finish. Now there is no need to purchase a large tub of drywall compound to patch a few small holes. Erase-A-Hole has a shelf life of three years and is guaranteed for two years after purchase. The container is in the familiar shape of a stick applicator. Ease of use and a three year shelf life make this a great product. Everyone who uses it asks, "Why didn't I think of this?" Simply pop the cap off, twist the adjustment knob, then wipe across the hole in a circular motion until the patch is even with the wall. Wipe the excess off with a damp sponge or scrape it smooth with the edge of the cap. You can paint immediately, because the product dries without shrinking.

It's very fast and easy.

Did an excellent job of filling holes in drywall from nails/screws that had been used to hang pictures.

I purchased mine from the company. There is no better and for sure no easier product to fill holes ~ what a time saver! I especially recommend this if you live in a rental and want your full deposit back. Just follow the directions and it is a miracle, holes seem to disappear when dry. Rental units are usually a white wall. It blends so well there is no need for paint touch ups. I helped my sons move back from CA to Ohio. They each had a rental deposit of $1100 and they got full refunds. We also used little bleach sponges to get off dark spots off walls, like in closets where the metal hangers rubbed off. Then of course having a spotless kitchen and bathroom ! Again, Erase A Hole is so easy and the holes disappear!!!

It works just as well as everyone else states but when applying the product it sometimes doesn't all stick causing little pieces to fall on the floor. Also, there is a lot of waste if you don't reuse the extra putty that sticks on the wall around the hole. And there is A LOT! So if you don't want all that extra putty to go to waste then you have to take the putty off the towel used to wipe the wall after application and stick it back on the applicator. Your fingertips will be white. It washes right off though. Those are the only two bad things about Erase-A-Hole that I came across. I do highly recommend this product if you don't mind those two things. I used it and the next day couldn't even find the nail holes I patched. That's a good product!

I regularly use a stick of Erase a Hole that I purchased at least five years ago. I often use it to fill holes from a former picture hook and invariably you can't even tell where the hole once was. It definitely helps that my walls are off white, so the color and texture typically match exactly. Earlier today, I used it on a one-foot crack in a wall, and again, I'm amazed at how effective Erase a Hole was. I see that some people have posted more mixed reviews so let me suggest these tips (and this is from a total amateur when it comes to home repairs): When not in use, keep the deodorant type container in a plastic bag. If the material has gotten dry when you next use it (which hasn't happened with me for at least five years with the container regularly stored in a plastic bag), put some water on top of the substance. After you've applied the substance, whether to a hole or a crack, try using your finger, possibly even dampened with a small amount of water, to rub the substance in and then use a dry cloth or paper towel to remove any excess amounts, especially along the sides of whatever you just repaired.

Sparing the details, I somehow managed to punch a small hole/dent in the drywall. I was mortified and didn't really want to go out to get all the drywall patching materials I would need to repair the hole. I searched around online to check out other various (and cheaper/less labor-intensive) solutions and came across this product. I'm generally very wary of "seen on TV" kind of products since they're notorious for not working the way it's shown or it turns out to be a HUGE pain. I went ahead and tried this out based on the other reviews on here. I'm glad I did.

It's very fast and easy. It's not even all that messy. You just crank out some of the putty, fill up the hole, then take the flat cap and scrap the extra off and deposit it back into the container to use later. It dried and matched the wall color perfectly. I'm sure if I had to paint over the hole it would have blended right in. You couldn't even tell there was a hole there anymore! I recommend this to everyone I know in real life as well for all those small drywall repairs.

I was looking for something REALLY easy to fill the nail holes in the wall before I moved out and this seems to be it! You just smush some putty into the hole, wipe off the excess, and shazam, you're done! It dries white so it blends in perfectly with the white walls here. I don't know what it will look like in a year's time or anything, but as for now, I highly recommend it.

This stuff seriously works. I used it to cover nail holes created by moving some wall hangings around. I swiped a tiny bit on the wall then used my finger to swirl it around into a thin layer. At first I was a little disappointed because the color at the time of the application was more off-white than white. But, I came back a bit later and couldn't find the holes! The putty "dries" white. I'm sure it helps that the wall paint we have is textured, but I was astounded that I could not spot where I had applied the putty. Wow!

I was looking for wall putty to patch some holes when I came accross this product on amazon. It seamed like a faster alternative to what I normally do, so I bought it. It works just as advertised!

Heres a few tips:
-Holes usually stick out alittle and need to be pushed in before appling putty. Use the back of a screwdriver to "push" the hole into the wall. I use a twisting motion, not a pounding motion.
-Use your finger to apply the putty in a circular motion. Wet your finger if the putty seams to crack as you apply it.
-Use the cap to scrape off excess. If its fighting you, just leave the extra on and use a damp rag to smooth it out once dry.

It really does dry on flat, so you can go straight to painting once dry.
Enjoy!
