5.0 out of 5 stars Erase A Hole is a rental deposit refund!
I purchased mine from the company. There is no better and for sure no easier product to fill holes ~ what a time saver! 3.0 out of 5 stars Only Good For Small Holes
Package says it can repair holes up to Quarter size. Nope. Still need a drywall patch for that. Think of this as putty on a stick. That's all it is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Erase A Hole is a rental deposit refund!, March 17, 2010
This review is from: Erase-a-hole Acoustic Ceiling and Wall Putty (Misc.)
I purchased mine from the company. There is no better and for sure no easier product to fill holes ~ what a time saver! I especially recommend this if you live in a rental and want your full deposit back. Just follow the directions and it is a miracle, holes seem to disappear when dry. Rental units are usually a white wall. It blends so well there is no need for paint touch ups. I helped my sons move back from CA to Ohio. They each had a rental deposit of $1100 and they got full refunds. We also used little bleach sponges to get off dark spots off walls, like in closets where the metal hangers rubbed off. Then of course having a spotless kitchen and bathroom ! Again, Erase A Hole is so easy and the holes disappear!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars works but kind of messy, November 23, 2010

It works just as well as everyone else states but when applying the product it sometimes doesn't all stick causing little pieces to fall on the floor. Also, there is a lot of waste if you don't reuse the extra putty that sticks on the wall around the hole. And there is A LOT! So if you don't want all that extra putty to go to waste then you have to take the putty off the towel used to wipe the wall after application and stick it back on the applicator. Your fingertips will be white. It washes right off though. Those are the only two bad things about Erase-A-Hole that I came across. I do highly recommend this product if you don't mind those two things. I used it and the next day couldn't even find the nail holes I patched. That's a good product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, July 17, 2011

Sparing the details, I somehow managed to punch a small hole/dent in the drywall. I was mortified and didn't really want to go out to get all the drywall patching materials I would need to repair the hole. I searched around online to check out other various (and cheaper/less labor-intensive) solutions and came across this product. I'm generally very wary of "seen on TV" kind of products since they're notorious for not working the way it's shown or it turns out to be a HUGE pain. I went ahead and tried this out based on the other reviews on here. I'm glad I did.

It's very fast and easy. It's not even all that messy. You just crank out some of the putty, fill up the hole, then take the flat cap and scrap the extra off and deposit it back into the container to use later. It dried and matched the wall color perfectly. I'm sure if I had to paint over the hole it would have blended right in. You couldn't even tell there was a hole there anymore! I recommend this to everyone I know in real life as well for all those small drywall repairs.

I was looking for something REALLY easy to fill the nail holes in the wall before I moved out and this seems to be it! You just smush some putty into the hole, wipe off the excess, and shazam, you're done! It dries white so it blends in perfectly with the white walls here. I don't know what it will look like in a year's time or anything, but as for now, I highly recommend it.

This is the best stuff ever! It's the easiest way to fill in holes in walls, from push pin holes to holes left behind after removing anchor screws. Stays moist in the little deoderant type container which I thought would be a problem. I won't ever use anything else!
