5.0 out of 5 stars I think, therefore you are., March 31, 2007
This review is from: Ergo Proxy, Volume 3: Cytopropism (DVD)
SPOILERS

The 3rd installment for Ergo Proxy is probably the most thought provoking volume yet. Episode 9, which focuses soley on Vincent again, sees him finally realise what he is, a Proxy. Episode 10 reveals that Re-L is infact still alive (there is more to this then we know so far, however) and has her and Iggy leave Romdo in search of Vincent once again. Episode 11 is extremely thought consuming and shows Vincent going through self doubt and realization on the current matters. The real gem here though, is episode 12... Re-L catches up to Vincent and he expresses his feelings for her. She witnesses him transform into the Proxy and now knows the truth about everything thats happened thus far. The cliffhanger is the hinting of Iggy being infected with the kogito virus and as of now it is unclear how this has affected him.. But something tells me its for the worst.

Ergo Proxy continues to grab my attention with its complicated and moving plot. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series for everyone, May 15, 2007
This review is from: Ergo Proxy, Volume 3: Cytopropism (DVD)
I find it kind of difficult to review just a certain volume of a series when my review should be based on the entire collection. If you want to buy into this series would you start with the third volume? What you should be doing is going back and reading reviews for the first volume. Believe me, you're going to want this series. You are going to be hooked from the very first episode. There were a couple of times where I was left scratching my head up until this third volume. Now I am really grasping the story and I am absolutely loving it. Just like me you are going to want to jump right into the next installment...too bad we need to wait for release dates.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series!, July 4, 2007

When I watch this series, I think of the TV show "Lost". There is so much that you don't/can't get right off the bat and just have to accept that and move on. Maybe with the success of American shows like "Lost," people will be more accepting of that concept -- instead of having everything spelled out, you have to think.

If you keep an open mind, this series will grab your imagination and definitely keep your interest. I wish only that I had the whole series NOW :)
