I bought two of these expecting the long lasting, strong, stiff type. I knew they were beads but these things are barely stress balls. They can pass for them but i doubt if there will be any hand strengthing going on or whether they will work for real stress relief. They are rather soft, the beads arent pack in tight at all and they feel more like a beanie baby than a stress balls. I returned mine but I still give it 2 stars because they may work for others. More like boredom or pass the time balls but not stress balls.

As another reviewer indicated the first thing that struck me was the durability of the unit. The fabric seems thicker and more durable then similar products I have tried. Even with the thicker fabric the feeling of the beads moving while the ball is manipulated is not diminished. The quantity and density of the beads in the ball is also about right. The ball does not seem too overstuffed to diminish the scope of feeling and also the device is not under filled which would diminish the pleasure as well.
Overall this is a really nice ball. I bought this primarily as a stress reliever and for that purpose it is great. Unlike other stress relievers that are more puzzles this can be manipulated mindlessly throughout the day while I work on my other tasks. It is also something I can do on the job without being to obvious about it. Two thumbs up!

Did not last, and was not what I thought it would be, Son has dysgraphia and did not help with the muscles of his hands.

Good Stress Reliever,

This came with the keyboard and mouse wrist-rest that I purchased. I have used it a few times and it does stretch the fingers nice. I can see where this might be useful for stressful situations.

I bought this stress ball to keep my hands busy, instead of smoking cigarettes. I was happy to find out that the ball is durable and does not puncture, which was one of worries that I originally had.
