5.0 out of 5 stars Wrist Wrap
This is the only wrist support I use while on the computer. After trying most wrist splints, wraps and supports, this is the only one that has the proper combination of support and flexibility to keep wrist pain to a minimum and all mobility on the mouse/keyboard.

I broke my wrist (fractured in two places) in sports about fifteen years ago and to this day it still often aches. I've been through so many straps it's ridiculous. The functional design of this strap is exactly what I was looking for. It's thin enough and provides practically the full amount of motion required for a lot of sports (or even just office/admin work around...

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good wrist wrap., August 8, 2009

I have tendinitis in my thumb and for a while have been using a wrist/thumb brace. It stops me from moving my thumb. As the tendinitis got better, I thought I would try just a wrist brace - I had found that I was resting my wrist on the edge of the desk and this was causing some of the pain. The wrist brace takes the pressure of my wrist and is very comfortable. I go back to the wrist/thumb brace if the tendinitis flares up, but for the most part am comfortable with this wrist wrap.

5.0 out of 5 stars good support, economical price, September 10, 2008

I have carpel tunnel syndrome with numbness in the hand. I did not want to wear a brace that loops around the thumb or has a metal brace in it, so I opted for this simple wrist band. Since wearing it for the past several weeks, my symptoms have abated. I'm very pleased with this band. Also, I initially adjusted it for the support I need, and instead of readjusting it each time I wear it, I just slide in off and on.

2.0 out of 5 stars Needs More Velcro, December 8, 2010

I broke my wrist (fractured in two places) in sports about fifteen years ago and to this day it still often aches. I've been through so many straps it's ridiculous. The functional design of this strap is exactly what I was looking for. It's thin enough and provides practically the full amount of motion required for a lot of sports (or even just office/admin work around the computer). It comes in two colors: black and tan (which I like for sports because it's less of a distraction and matches skin tone). The elastic inside the strap is strong and supportive. It seems that too many straps these days are either loop around the thumb which prevents my thumb from use, contains a splint which greatly reduces mobility, or has a double layer which is too thick and awkward.

The one major flaw with this product is definitely the lack of strength in the lining that pairs up against the Velcro. There is only one side of Velcro, and granted it's very tough and strong. But the lining part that matches to it is weak and after the first time I put it on the yarns started coming out. Enough strapping/fastening and the Velcro no longer sticks. For me, the only reasonable way to use this product would be to purchase a ton of them, say 1 per week, 52 straps for the year, which is obviously not practical. In the end, this product should have been made with a matching Velcro side instead of the yarned lining and it would've received an easy four stars.

This was fine for a month then the velcro started going bad and it would not stay in place properly. I do use it everyday at work and put it on and take it off quite often. It may be good if you plan on leaving it on your wrist for long periods but if you're like me and always taking them off, this is not for you. It did do it's job for the time it worked, it reduced my tendinitis while using it.

I thought I'd gotten a great deal on this for the whole 3 days it took to wear out the velcro. Now the strap won't stay fastened for longer than a few minutes, to say nothing of the total lack of support. Don't waste your money!

Made in China, of course. It has the Velcro hooks but not the loop material. While this will work short term, I would foresee these "wearing out" relatively soon with frequent use.

2.0 out of 5 stars It's OK, March 19, 2011

This product is great in the beginning, but after it's worn a few times it starts to not be as effective and stick due to the velcro. The more you put it on and take it off it wears and won't stick. Basically good for a few wears and nothing beyond.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wrist Wrap, March 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered these wrist wraps for my husband who is temporarily using a cane due to OA in his knee. The wrap helps tremendously. I bought three, but they seem quite durable, so they will last a long time. I was looking for a similar item on the ACE bandage site, but couldn't find anything similar. I would recommend this item.
