These were easy to install. They have the affect of spreading the weight of my hands out over a greater surface area which gives me greater comfort over long mountain bike rides. I carried a little allen wrench with me on the first few rides so I could adjust them to maximum comfort. The seem very durable so far.

I bought these on suggestion from a buddy of mine and absolutely love them. I ride roughly 1000+ miles a summer throughout idaho and historically changed had grip frequently to move pressure points around. These grips create a significant surface area to contact improvement thus reducing/spreading the pressure points around and making the ride that much more comfortable for both up hill and down hill riding.

Great product and will continue to use this on any/all bikes i own in the future.

I have been bicycling for an eternity and commuting by bicycle for more than 40 years as well as riding road bikes and mountain bikes. These are by far the most comfortable grips you can buy with a nice wide platform for one's hand and great wrist support. As other reviewers have noted they are a breeze to install, are easy to adjust (angle for greatest comfort) with a locking bolt and come in two sizes to accommodate different paws.

I really like the eco-friendly recyclable cork. Not sure how well it will hold up over time, but thus far it seems stable. I seem to be tough on grips so I hope these hold up better than some other brands I have owned. Those obsessed with trimming ounces may want to look elsewhere, but unless you are a MTB racer the small weight penalty will go unnoticed. I even like the mostly biodegradable packaging; quite refreshing in this era of vacuum sealed plastic that's nearly impossible to open.

I really can find no fault with these except that they cost more than a typical round grip, but even with that they are still a five star item.

this is not exactly what you think,

-quality control is not perfect, the cork came already frayed at the ends of the grips, and the threads had not been cleared, leaving sharp burrs to get cut on if you don't notice them and remove them.

- Cork? when they say cork it makes you think the grips are made of cork, but they are actually made of a clear rubber with small peaces of cork suspended inside. occasionally all you get is the rubber (doesn't look very good) presumably do to the way the grips cooled in the mold( its not a bad thing, it makes a wonderful grip but not as description would suggest)

-Bar end plugs do not fit, and not just by a little, they are way too big! they don't even come close to fitting! also bar end plugs are not as shown, they are an organic black plastic with gray symbol.

- extrusion plugs left on the black rubber part of the grip.

all in all
great grips, make the ride very nice and comfortable, but the craftsmanship is not all that the other views state. and the bar end plugs are worthless.

Very comfortable, new, handle-bar grips. I am very pleased with this product. The cork is very cool, comfortable, and giving. I would definitely try more from this brand and seller

I've used an ergo grip with similar shape on all my mountain or flat bar bikes for me entire life. It just suites me well
I located a nice rubber set for my mountain bike that I bought in 1999 and they're still the best ever.
This ergon cork with rubber inset is even better.
The cork haas a different texture. It's slightly harder, than my other rubber grips, but just as "grippy".
On long, hot rides, when I wipe away sweat and grab back onto the cork, they're not slippery. When I grab onto the rubber one, after a while, they start to feel gritty. Not so with ergon cork.
I used Cinelli cork tape on road bikes for years and years and never liked it when it would get wet when it was worn out. Some of the leather like bar tape, like Fizik microtex made me forget about cork completely. This application of cork for a flat bar grip is sensational.
30-40 dollars is not inexpensive for grips. But the shape, hardness, feel and asthetic have won me over completely. I will continue to seek Cork products out for other applications.
These grips are a great value and look killer on my flat bar 1x9 road bike.

Excellent, comfortable grips. I bought the wrong size for a Brompton M type so I had to cut less than 1/2 inch to fit them. Anyway, these are impressive and a joy to use.

Very comfortable grip but I'm dissapointed that it is falling apart after only 2 years of moderate use. I'd stick with the rubber ergons.

I have put in about a hundred miles of trail riding with my new Ergon Grips, and i'm quite pleased with them. They are very comfortable and easy to use a variety of hand placements with. Yesterday I forgot my gloves at home and enjoyed the Ergons even more without the padding on my gloves, and my hands actually seemed happier without the gloves.

I would recommend these to anyone dealing with hand issues or just looking for a cozy, supportive set of grips.

p.s. the end caps are different than pictured here, as others have mentioned. Mine are black with the circle design printed on.
