For me, the Ergonomic Gel Pads ease the pain of temporary injuries that result from repetitive clicking. 3.0 out of 5 stars Good product
This product does relieve the pain associated with my carpal tunnel when I'm using a mouse for long periods of time. However, I hadn't thought about the fact that I go back and forth between the mouse and the keyboard most of the time, so it's a little difficult to quickly and correctly reposition my hand each time.

For me, the Ergonomic Gel Pads ease the pain of temporary injuries that result from repetitive clicking. I perform a lot of research online for graduate papers, so my fingertips would hurt a lot before the introduction of the pads. The pads keep my fingertips from continually pressing into my mouse's hard plastic surface. I had no idea that making the mouse's surfaces cushion-y could make such a major difference in the way my hands feel. Now I can use the mouse for longer periods of time with far less discomfort. This means I can concentrate on my work more and not on whether my hands will be able to hold up.

If the maker of the Ergonomic Gel Pads could design a keyboard with similar cushioning material built into the keys, then heavy computer use could be even less injurious to the hands. I predict that a keyboard with keys made from a similar gel-like, rubberized material would sell like hotcakes.

The only problem I've seen after 2 weeks of use is that the gel has become worn and rough from use where my finger moves on the pad. Suggest some sort of improvement for that; but, otherwise I love the product.

The pads on my logitech G9 mouse work great, they make my fingers rest very nicely. However they have seem to wear out pretty quickly, but I use my computer 10 hours a day. Customer service was very prompt in fixing all product issues.

This product is already helping the pain in my finger (ie. trigger finger, mouse finger). The original arrived with out the palm pad, but the seller immediately sent a new one free of charge. I would prefer that the palm pad be larger since it does not reach my hand, otherwise I am completely satisfied with this product. A+

This product does relieve the pain associated with my carpal tunnel when I'm using a mouse for long periods of time. However, I hadn't thought about the fact that I go back and forth between the mouse and the keyboard most of the time, so it's a little difficult to quickly and correctly reposition my hand each time.

One thing that would have been helpful with this product is some sort of guide to help determine where to place the pads on the mouse, especially for the larger palm piece. I wasn't sure which part of my hand the pad was supposed to be supporting. Consequently, I had to reposition the palm piece more than once, and part of it no longer sticks to the mouse.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Product, August 30, 2010

I am a bit undecided whether this product will really provide relief from injury that comes from repetative motion. I use a mouse at work and the actual time I spend doing this could be measured as a high percentage of my total work day. I bought this product as a precaution against possible repetative motion injury. So far all I can say is that the addition of the pads to my mouse have made the use of the mouse more comfortable. One nice aspect of their design is that when placed on the mouse they stay in position. Yet the user is able to remove them for readjustment of position (or completely) without having to deal with some sort of adhesive on the bottom of each pad. In this respect the design should get 5 stars.

I really like these, and the pain in my hand has definitely gotten a lot better. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because the palm piece is starting to peel off and when it does I don't know how I'll go about getting it to stick again. It'll probably mean I have to buy a new set.

This review is from: Ergonomic Gel Pads on Mouse - Carpal Tunnel Mouse Pads Padandclick - Arthritis - (Pads Only - Mouse Not Included) (Office Product)
Almost immediately after I purchased a tower-type computer (after years using only laptops), I developed excruciating pain in my poor arthritic right hand and wrist, apparently from the 'curled in' hand position that the external mouse required. I literally had tears rolling down my eyes. I decided to try these mouse pads as a first solution. They came immediately, I put them on the mouse in the positions that were right for MY hand, and much sooner than I expected, my pain went away and has not returned. These pads have stayed attached to my mouse for several months with no problem. Also, this is a first-rate seller who checked in with me to see if the pads were working and seemed legitimately concerned about the quality of his product. I believe the pads, for me, were a better solution than an expensive ergonomic mouse. And the price is very reasonable. Great deal!!
