I have 3 Dell 24" U2410 monitors (14 lbs each) hanging on this stand. No problem at all. There is even enough room to tilt the arms in so that the monitors form a concave arc.

Each monitor can be tilted forward/backward and side to side to some degree - but it takes some effort and it's not something you're going to want to do a lot once you have the monitors facing where you want them.

Solid stable quality construction - the parts are very nicely machined with good fit and finish. Even when I had attached only the center and the left monitor, the thing didn't tilt and keel over to the left

Height adjustment - but like with the tilt adjustment, it's not something you're going to want to do a lot once you have the monitors set at the height you want. Especially if your monitors are heavy.

Left and right arms swing far back and forward - in theory up to 90 degrees so that they're perpendicular to the fixed center cross arm, but in practice limited depending upon how big/thick your monitors are. I get about 30 degrees of forward swing on the arms with my 24" monitors, which allows me to form an arc that is just right for me (I sit about 4 feet away from my monitors).

Cable management system is crude but effective - it consists of simple plastic clipons that you clip onto the unused spaces on the arms. They allow me to eliminate all cables from immediate view.

No drilling through your desk, no clamping onto the sides of the desk - this is precisely why I picked this stand, rather than going with monitor arms. I would've preferred the on-the-fly adjustability of monitor arms but after realizing I really don't move my monitors around, I concluded the stand would be more space efficient.

If you have 27 inch monitors, you *can* use this stand, but there is a different version that has telescoping wings (the 100-D16-B03-TW) which works much better. I purchased this stand first, then purchased the other version, and so happen to be in a position to compare them.

Firstly, let me say that this stand (the 100-D16-B03) is an excellent stand. It is very sturdy, easy to put together, and has a very professional look to it. It did not work out for me, however. I have 3 ASUS VE278H 27 inch monitors that I wanted a stand for, so after a little looking, I purchased this stand. I use them for both work and gaming, so I definitely wanted them in landscape. The monitors *did* fit on the stand, but it felt pretty flat, and when seated in the middle, the edges of the outside monitors were far enough away from my head that I could not read text out there. In time, I found out about the 100-D16-B03-TW, which is exactly the same as this stand, but with telescoping wings instead, and I decided I needed to get them.

You can get individual parts for these stands. I called Ergotech, and they were very communicative and helpful. They directed me to some sites where parts can be purchased (Eagle distribution, Ergo LCD, PC Connection) and gave me part numbers to search for (A00224 and A00225). However, purchased separately the wings are at least $120, so I decided to just get a whole new stand ($230 at the time).

Then, since I had both stands, I took some measurements. Each of my ASUS monitors is 25.3″ wide and has a bezel width of 0.75″. On this stand (the 100-D16-B03), the center bar is 26.25″, and each swinging side wing is 13 1/8″.

I have to disagree with some of the previous review. While I don't deny that adjusting the height once monitors are mounted on it isn't painless, due to the lack of any kind of supporting spring, I'm perfectly able to adjust it up and down while it's in the vertical position. Probably depends on how heavy the monitors are - I'm using 3 23' AOC's that weigh about 11 pounds each. Yes, it's not something you can easily do while sitting in front of it, but it's hardly a major undertaking, and once you find the right height you can just leave it there.

Things I like about this stand:

Easy to put together.

Very solid construction.

Plain, no-nonsense approach to cable management - it's very easy to make this thing look "neat" if you have long enough cables, some tie straps, and patience. Important only if it's viewable from the back (and you care).

Very "tweakable" - probably the best feature of this stand. The height, obviously, is fixed for all monitors but just about every other angle can be tweaked and adjusted on a per-monitor basis. Having used another triple stand before sending it back (for lacking this) I've come to really appreciate this part. It's very easy to get just the right angle, which if you've never used triple LCD's before is pretty important.

And finally, it frees up a ton of space (well, all triple mounts do) on my desk. It's hard to appreciate it until you actually see it happen.

Things I don't like:

A spring loaded height adjustment would be a very good "nice to have".

It is heavy, almost to the point of overkill.
