Have conducted a ton of research on triple-monitor stands before purchasing this item.

After receiving, I can tell you that this is probably the best stand in the price/performance category. This was much less expensive, especially when Amazon has it on sale, then the competition, but the build quality is definitely top notch.

If you are going with 3 x 24" or 27" monitors, then the Telescoping Wing option is very near mandatory, and I'm glad I did. This way I can adjust the side monitors easily at a 45⁰ angle (and they could go much more) and then slide them both slightly behind the center monitor to remove the dual bezel look. With only one bezel on each side, it adds greatly to the surround immersion & isn't noticeable after a couple of minutes!

One major benefit that I didn't really think of at the time of purchase, but very glad this stand offered.....is the metal base that is perfectly flat and is less than 3/16". When moving items around my desk, you can easily slide other items over with no impact (i.e. keyboard, etc...). Even though flat, it easily provides more than enough weighting for the 3 monitors. Moving in & out of my desk, this stand has never wobbled, even the slight bit. Very stable. It is 18" wide by 16" deep, and by getting rid of the other 2 monitor stands, opens up a ton of desk space. Found out I could be a lot more organized. Also, I can use the stand as additional horizontal space (i.e. cell phone, glasses, sticy tabs, etc...), which I couldn't do if it was domed, like some of the competition.

I wanted to find a stand that didn't break the bank but had at least the standard features needed to accommodate the three 27" LG 27EA63 monitors I wanted to use in surround and as an extended work station. I read that only this one, with the telescopic arms would work.

This product fit the bill perfectly. The base is heavy, but no more than 1/8" thick. It does take a lot of surface area. I also placed about 15 small felt sticky pads all over the bottom of it so it wouldn't scratch my desk.

Setup was a snap - screw in the base, arm assembly and vesa mounts. Then mount the monitors to the arms and adjust. That part was easy.

This part wasn't: The pivoting VESA mounts don't seem to pivot left or right, only up and down. I COULD get them to rotate left or right, but I have a feeling I'll need a vice and an impact drill with a hex bit to do this - it's REALLY on there and I can't get the mechanical advantage with simply the allen key to undo those bolts. I would have to unbolt the pivot, move it a couple of degrees, test, then tighten hoping not to angle them again while tightening. This ultimately means I can only get the monitor to line up according to the arm articulation which only provides a very small amount of angle which isn't suitable for reading.

I did find a solution that works - it's so close that I simply push the two bezels together and the small amount opposing force holds them in place and makes them line up picture perfect. I would have paid an extra $20 or so for mounts that have a lockable left/right pivot so I can fine tune the adjustment. I feel it's an oversight worth knocking off a star for - it's such a bummer because it was SO CLOSE to perfect.

Great stand! It is currently holding three 27" QNIX monitors with no problems. The base is pretty thick though, and I wish it was a little thinner. It would have also been nice to have included shorter screws or washers for the vesa mounts. My monitors have short screw holes for the vesa mount and I had to use two washers per screw to get it screwed tight.

Only cons I have is the allen bolts on the mounts were really hard to loosen up. I couldn't do it by hand with the included tool and had to stand on the tool to get it to budge. The stand also was dirty and I had to wipe the dirt off.

This item gave me some trouble from the first day. They fastend two out of the three mounts offset by like forty-five degrees. I had to find a socket that fit and correct the offset so they where square. (Otherwise the monitors would sit at an angle and not level.)

The next problem was the pivot lock that is used to adjust the up and down tilt of the screens. One of the three is bad. It slips when trying to tighten (and lock the joint.) This made adjusting the pivot of one of my screens to match the others a very difficult task.

Another thing to point out is that the base of this stand is huge. It needs to be in order to make the stand sturdy enough to support multiple monitors. Make sure that you have room on your desk to fit the base of your stand behind your keyboard. (Base dimensions: 18 in. wide by about 16.5 in. deep.)

The final issue I have with this item is that the fasteners, specifically the bolts that lock the rotation of the mount part of the stand, are not uniform in size requiring you to have 2 sized sockets on hand even though they perform the same task and could be the same size on all three.

Other than a bit of unneeded hassle during setup or adjustment-making, the stand is wonderful. The screens on the far edges wobble some when you shake the desk but the setup seems to be a good design. No worry of the thing tipping over or things falling off.

If you get this stand, I recommend that you adjust the height to meet your needs first thing. After you load it with multiple monitors, I don't think height adjustment is wise to do with only one person. Either get someone to help support the weight of one side while you support the other and work the height adjustment lock, or preferably remove the monitors from the stand prior to adjusting the height.
