5.0 out of 5 stars Very sturdy and well built; supports a 24" LCD with ease.
This stand replaced the stock non-height adjustable stand on my Acer X243w (24" LCD). Despite being spec'd on the manufacturers site for 22" displays or less, this stand seems to easily handle 24" or larger ones with ease. There is zero wobble. 3.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful But Flawed
The stand is very well made but functionally deficient because it has no method of locking the screen height once it is adjusted and the spring system that governs the height is too stong (even on the lowest setting) for the 15" LCD TV that I am using it with. Perhaps if your display is bigger and heavier there would be sufficient adjustment to allow it to be balanced...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!, October 18, 2006

I bought this because the original stand on my 19" samsung SyncMaster 191t+ broke.

It was very easy to assemble (took me maybe 4 minutes) and it's a very nice unit. It is easy not only just to change the height of the monitor, but also to rotate the monitor from landscape to portrait, *and* the base also rotates plus you can vary the angle you face, so the stand allows you to adjust it in every conceivable way, ensuring a comfortable position.

I spent some time looking for monitor stands and most of them seem to cost twice (or more!) than this one, it's a good deal!

I installed these on two LCD monitors, a 17" ViewSonic and 18" Dell. The unit is very easy to assemble. You can instantly change the height, angle, and rotation of the monitors without having to turn any set screws. You just hold the screen and move it to whatever position desired. There are various pieces of hardware supplied to fit many monitor types.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just A Great Stand!!!, April 10, 2007
This review is from: Neo-Flex LCD Stand (Personal Computers)
I currently have a Samsung 205bw 20 inch monitor. The stand that came with it is very limited. I have noticed in the last couple of months my screen would keep tilting downward and it was getting very uncomfortable to be at the computer. I researched around and I kept coming back to this stand. I found the stand at the local Staples for 29.99. This stand is fantastic. My lcd seems like it has a new life. You might say how does this change your lcd. The reason it changes your lcd is because now you have the correct height and the tilt is very adjustable. When you look at an lcd at a downward angle your monitor looks like it has a dense look to it. This is a must buy accessory if you are currently have problems with your current stand or just want one with more features.

5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT STAND...VERY VERSATILE!, February 25, 2009

This review is from: Neo-Flex LCD Stand (Personal Computers)
I bought this stand to replace the one that came with a Samsung 2343BWX monitor which I had purchased from Costco. The Samsung monitor is pretty good for the money however, the original stand that comes with it is crap. The one that same with my monitor cannot adjust for height and it is extremely difficult to tilt back due to what clearly is a design flaw. Anyway, I bought this monitor stand to replace the original and it is awesome. It is easy to install and the height and tilt adjust easily. And what's more, you can rotate the monitor into a vertical portrait orientation. Great monitor stand and worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific for the Price, August 1, 2008

I just installed two of these stands on Samsung 226BW 22-inch lcd monitors. I bought these stands primarily because they were the least expensive ones I could find that had good reviews. I simply refused to pay $100 to $200 for anything that looked decent.
Let me say that these stands are terrific! I can't really find any fault with them. Very careful setup took ten minutes each. The vertical tension setting was perfect (right out of the boxes), and I can now use the monitors in the portrait configuration.
I also have two new Samsung 2253BW monitors on a video editing system, and I am certain that they will be mounted on these Neoflex stands in tne very near future.
The monitors I own are used in a small business, and I don't have a lot of time to fool around with junk. Please take my word for it, you will not be disappointed if you buy this stand.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as expected with minor flaw, October 22, 2007

The unit assembled and attached to the LCD monitor fine. There were more screws than I knew what to do with, but I guess more is better than not enough.

One minor flaw I saw was that I wasn't able to tighten all four screws because one of the bottom two screws is inaccessible because the body was in the way. One of the two can be accessed by tilting the monitor 90 degrees. But that last one you may need some kind of L-shaped tool to get to. Fortunately the three other ones can be tightened well enough to support the majority of the weight. That last one can be left a bit loose until a more appropriate tool is found to tighten it.

Otherwise, the stand works fine as advertised. I did not see a need to make any adjustments to the tensions of any of the axes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed, June 13, 2009

I read a bunch of reviews before I bought this and very few mentioned using it with a 24" monitor. I've been using mine for about two weeks, and it is unexpectedly sturdy and easy to use. Installation took less than 10 minutes. It has enough height differential so I can switch to portrait easily. I was really skeptical that something so much less expensive than all the other stands would do exactly what I wanted it to, but it raises, lowers, and tilts easily, and it feels very stable and doesn't take up much space.

I read one review that warned about the stand's instability before it's attached to the monitor and it bears repeating, be careful where/how you put the stand before you attach it, its center of gravity is weird before it has the monitor attached, and it's likely to fall over and hurt you or break something near you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Monitor Upgrade!, September 1, 2007
This review is from: Neo-Flex LCD Stand (Personal Computers)
The Ergotron Neoflex LCD stand is an excellent piece of workmanship for the price. The screen raises and lowers with a light touch, which is great for adjusting to proper height for multiple users. It also has a good range of tilt adjustment (-5 to +25 degrees of tilt) and rotates on its base. All these adjustments are crucial for best viewing on an LCD because the viewing angle changes brightness and color.

For photographers, this stand also allows you to flip the screen from landscape to portrait orientation. This is not so easy that you will want to do it all the time, but if you have that special shot in portrait orientation that you would like to see full screen, this mount will let you do it. A reviewer on another site said that this would only allow you to mount in landscape or portrait but not rotate during use - this is not true. It is hard to use the screen in portrait because the mouse movements are all wrong.

Installation is easy. The mounting plate accomodates VESA 100mm and 75 mm monitor mounts and has a spider for additional mount types. A phillips head screwdriver is all that is need to assemble the stand and mount your monitor on it.

Bottom line - This $35 stand adds hundreds of dollars of value to my new flat panel monitor. I cannot believe how well made and usable this product is for its price. Highly recommended.
