Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Eric Auxier is a pilot by day, writer by night, and kid by choice.
Never one to believe in working for a living, Mr. Auxier's past list of occupations include: Alaska bush pilot, freelance writer, mural artist, and pilot for a Caribbean seaplane operation.
He is now a captain for a major airline.
Mr. Auxier has contributed to such publications as Arizona Highways, Airways Magazine, Plane & Pilot and AOPA Pilot. He is a graduate of Arizona State University (B.S. degree in Aeronautical Technology) and Cochise College (A.S. degree in Pro-Pilot). At both institutions, he worked as a newspaper editor, staff reporter and columnist. He is currently a regular contributor to Airways Magazine and a columnist at NYCAviation.com. His blog, ADVENTURES OF CAP'N AUX (capnaux.com) is read by thousands worldwide.
