I ordered this set under the impression that they were board books. When they arrived I saw that they were small, hardcover books in a boxed set. These are NOT ideal for babies and young toddlers to play with. The box is held closed with a ribbon (choking hazard), and is very flimsy when the books aren't in it. The books themselves aren't very well bound and have regular paper pages. I have to keep them out-of-reach. However, it is a great gift set of some of Eric Carle's less well-known works (The Very series I think is his most popular).

Love the author and the stories but the font of this set is SMALL which makes for difficult bed-time reading in dimmer, night-time light. I also like my son to follow the words with me while reading to him and that is hard to do as well with this set.

This is a fun little collection of Eric Carle books. It's not the sturdiest packaging so I read these to my daughter but don't let her hold onto them herself yet (she is only 6 months old). These are the same books only smaller, and I know she will love to play with these when she's older. I love Eric Carle books!

I bought these for my nephews for Christmas. They are Eric Carle fans and these books are a great size to carry around for the little guys.

My 20 month old loves the mini books! Before I even had the chance to read the books to her, she was excitedly pulling at the ribbon tie and fishing out each book. She handled the books with ease & was burying her face in the mini books, which were a lot lighter and softer than board books. Despite being rough with the books, the pages have remained firmly intact with no signs of deterioation at all!

I have lost count of the number of times she has asked for the "Papa Moon" story. She can even complete most of the sentences in the book for me.

This is a very very good buy and I highly recommend it!

I bought this book set for our 17 month old daughter for Christmas and she loves them! These are a must have for Eric Carle fans!

Bought for my niece who's 2 years old and she loved the stories instantly! She especially loved the pancake story. Glad I bought it for her and we got to bond over some great fun bedtime reads!

My 2 year old daughter received this set for her birthday and she absolutely loves these books! They are super cute and make a great gift! I knew they were going to be on the smaller side and that they weren't board books so no complaints here!

This set is absolutely adorable. My children love Eric Carle and this set was a perfect gift for them. I would recommend this as a gift to children who love to read.

These are little books. But just are good as the fun size. My two year old loves these books. Great way to add to your kiddos library.
