purchased this for my wife to use it while at work and it works great. it is paired to her Sony Z phone - I just put in there the biggest capacity available Sony stick (mini) and hours of her favorite music. Ear buds are SUPER comfy and came with different attachments to fit your ear. Pairing was a breeze. phone sound quality is great too, however, she hardly uses it for calls...

Headset charge will not last long after a year of use,

I like the concept ( bluetooth stereo, multiple and simultaneous device support, superior sound quality, several music and call controls on the fob, not over the ear, clear voice, and compact) and saw nothing on the market quite like this headset at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, the long term use (over 1 year) proved fatal. It now only lasts short of 20 minutes if in a call and a little more than twice as long with just music. This headset was actually cool and cool looking - I suppose I will have to go back to losing my cool points with some wired/tired headset.
Is there something today that would provide all the above and perform over a much longer period?

I did a lot research to find just the right compact wireless headphones with high quality sound. I am pleased with the sound quality and the portability of this headset.
My issues is not with the headphones, but with my Palm Centro. I needed to purchase Softick Audio Gateway (around $20) to use the bluetooth a2dp protocols required by bluetooth stereo headphones. I am happy to announce that I've got things to work, but sometimes I have trouble reconnecting the phone & headset throughh the Audio Gateway software and I need to reset the headset or the phone. I cannot use the full quality setting on Softick Audio Gateway because the software eats up all the phone CPU power and I cannot push any buttons. Oh well, I am happy enough with what I can do without buying a new phone (cause I love my centro). These will also work with laptops...that support A2DP. Sound is awesome. |
