bought in Jan 2010.worked fine for a few months, then stopped working properly around May 2010. my phone (equinox) turns on/off erratically when plugged to the charger.

This worked wonderfully for the few weeks that I needed it. Then I dropped my phone accidentally and replaced it with an iPhone, which uses a different proprietary charger.
