I have recently lost my mother and this book helped me through what has been the most difficult time of my life to date. Helen's experiences were heartfelt.

I happened to stumble upon the author's site a few months ago and I think there was a reason why I did. Meeting Helen and reading her book has helped me to better deal with my great loss.

Helen's website has been very helpful to me and my family. You can post a letter on her site and she will reply. You will find that she is on a mission to help people going through the heartache of a great loss. Helen has been driven by her daughter, Erin, to write her book and live her life in this way and for this I am thankful to them both.

I too feel that I am being driven to research life after death and that part of my experience was to find Helen's site and read her book.

I highly recommend this wonderful, uplifting piece of art 'From Erin with Love'.

This book was the best of all that I have read of this type. The simple difference between this book and others is that Erin's character was kept intact consistently throughout the book. There was no "cleaning it up" or "sugar-coating". The most natural feeling when you lose a loved-one is to give people only the "PG" version of their life. When this happens, it's hard to see the reality in that person. Cheers to Helen, who had the foresight to keep Erin "real" in order for people to identify with her gripping emotions and life-altering experiences. I could not help but recognize some of my own experiences and feelings with my own mother through both Erin's and Helen's words. How comforting it is to know that there are others who see some of the beauty and excitement during what most people see as "the darkest moments of life". Erin and Helen have done a wonderful job of reaching out and giving people a better understanding of the process of life through death. I encourage everyone I know to read this book (whether they have lost a loved-one or not). It's real and also very thought provoking. Whether you believe in "life after death" or not, Erin's experience will touch your heart, and her courage will give you strength.

Never has a story captured my interest and held it like Erin and Helens story. Erin was and is a strong spirit who shows us all that we do not die. This is the story of a young woman who fought the battle for her life and the love with which her mother tells her story makes Erins life and spirit jump from the pages. I honestly could not put it down. This is a story written with pride, dignity and so much love you weep with sadness and then with joy. Thank you Helen, for sharing.

A priceless book, written to give hope and peace to those who have lost, and courage to face the future knowing that you will not be "alone" and left behind. Our loved ones stay with us, and are eager to remain a part of our lives. Thanks Helen!!!

As a bereaved parent I found this book such an inspiration - a must read for newly bereaved parents. Erin's courage and determination literally jumps off the page at the reader. Helen Fisher's book speaks of the pain of her loss but also the promise of the future with her daughter.

As they say, "I laughed, I cried, I was genuinely moved." The writing style of this book is very conversational and comfortable. This is in stark contrast to the topic, which lends a nice balance. Even in times of stress, Erin's ability to observe shows through and she has a unique ability to see what others miss. She looks for the "affect" on people even as she undergoes the ordeals of her affliction. The book is very well written. It draws you in and requires further exploration. She is quite witty. As the book proceeds, tension builds and you find yourself questioning the adequacy of our medical system and all its processes. I am struck by how honest Erin is with her predicament. The story takes an uplifting and surprising turn as the intensity of the situation transforms into a wake-up call of sorts for our spiritual natures. Indeed, this drama has a happy ending as it points out that perhaps there is much more going on behind the scenes spiritually than we would all care to

this book From Erin With Love was one of the most emotional books I have ever read. Helen Fisher does an excellent job of being "very down to Earth, describing the cold reality of the medical world, and the very heartwarming , comforting, reality of the fact that there is indeed, a transition from one dimension to another dimension." Sharing her beautiful daughter Erin's journals and poems made me feel like I knew her as a person. Butterflies represent a transition from one life to another life. I highly recommend this book for those who are recently bereaved, and for those who wish to learn more about life after life.

From Erin with Love is a book written about a real person with real feelings. Erin is a college student who is diagnosed with a fatal disease. This book, with the help of her journals, recounts the story of how she and her loved ones coped with this horrible twist of fate. The love that people felt for Erin shines through this book and the experience of her family after Erin's death affirms that death is not an end but a beginning... I guarantee that this book with touch you. Not to be missed.

this is a wonderful book,, recently lost my "mom",, and her favorite color was "red"... since then I have seen a cardinal,, who is around all the time...especially when I am missing my mom the most.. so I can identify with the butterfly,, coincidence? maybe,,, but I think there is more to this world than we can ever know,, thank you for this book,, I will not forget it...

This book caught me by surprise. My family has had similar seemingly 'other-worldly' experiences with nature (birds rather than in this case butterflies). The full journal of a vivacious 19-yr-old suddenly finding herself in the embitterning experience of approaching death from leukemia is itself heart-rendig and mvoing. The subsequent apparent communications from after death are fascinating and, though incredible, are believable. As I put the book down after reading it nonstop, I said "the operative word here is love." I continue to recommned it whenever I think someone will be receptive.
