About the Author

Madelaine Hemingway Miller, Ernest's favorite sister, was the fourth child in the Hemingway family, five years younger than Ernest. Throughout her life she continued to spend her summers at Windemere, the Hemingway family cottage at Walloon Lake near Petoskey, Michigan. She died in 1995 at the age of 90.

Very sweet--but Sunny has pins in her sweetness for those who used or abused her. Gives more perspective on E.H.'s complex nature.
