First, let me say that I don't have many favorite male singers. I have been listening to Eros for about a year now, having bought most of his CD's. You don't need to know Italian to appreciate his music. His vocal range is astonishing to me, and there are several songs that send chills through me. His vocal talent and music and lyrics, which he wrote are fantastic. I can't say enough about his voice and his music. I STRONGLY recommend Stile Libero CD and EROS (his greatest hits) CD as well. This video is fantastic for those who appreciate his music but can't make it to Europe for his concerts. He is a very personable guy.

I started working on a doctorate in Rome a year ago. Prior to this I never listened to any "foreign" music other than from England for Pete's sake. Eros is excellent! His new "9" is solid. Even if you don't know the language, you'll like the songs. If you do know the language - Italian , he also sings in Spanish - you gotta get to know this guy. He's sold over 20 million C.D.'s in Europe! If that doesn't tell you something . . .

Unfortunately, this DVD features only a choice of songs from Eros' Milan concert during his Stilelibero Tour of 2001. However, the choice is good and besides tracks from Stilelibero, you can hear his greatest hits, such as Dove c'e musica, Cose della vita, etc.

As a non-Italian, I found subtitles to be the most interesting feature. It's possible to listen to a song with Italian subtitles (that's something like karaoke), but also in English, German or Spanish - the easiest way to translate Eros' songs in real time.

I had never listened to Italian artists before,until I heard this guy named Eros Ramazzotti singing.I got to hear his great voice when I saw him and Tina Turner singing at one of his concerts where she had made a surprise entrance onstage.I was hooked on his music then,and bought their duet CD,and have since bought other music of Eros and he is great on DVD too.

This is an excelent DVD of Eros, it's a shame is not the full concert, however it containts the right choice of songs. He will visit Mexico late April, I won't miss it.

He makes a very good performance, in which the ladies go wild with excitement, the music flows well, and the overall ambience of the crowd revs you up for more! It makes you wish he would have more video releases for the US market. To those who don't know who he is, this is the video to watch to gain a preview of what he is all about.

This is a great concert by Eros, but like other reviews state, it is not the whole concert, thuss it only gets 4 stars from me.
But then again, you really can't go wrong with any of Eros' songs, his style or singing ablity! I was hooked the second I heard his last CD in 2000, while looking for a different artist. I love this concert and the bouns of having the cool music videos that are included. Not to mention the pretty funny interview with Eros and Cher, were in, she is acting like the origianl ice queen with him! HA!
Anyway; I highly recommend this DVD. But have to suggest that the next concert is a little better. Because all of it was recorded. Both are must haves for any Eros fan.

Este es un gran clásico para todos los admiradores de Eros Ramazzotti pues aparte de traer un concierto correspondiente a la gira promocional de su disco "estilolibre" (es uno de los pocos conciertos que veo que subtitula hasta las letras de las canciones) trae una serie de extras como videoclips promocionales de dicho album (aunque falto el de "un angel no es") presentaciones en vivo y demás, aparte de una excelente calidad de video y audio!

I bought this DVD mostly because I wanted to view the music videos. There are only 3 videos on this DVD, and they are hidden: buried in the extras. It was disappointing, but I can't video elsewhere of the music videos that are on his web site. It's interesting to see Eros live, however, and the video quality is good. Even more interesting to see his interaction with his child, who he has sing a song: when she forgets the words, he gets upset, and overpowers her with his voice. Cher seems to be a kind of freak, but I suppose that's what you've got to be to succeed at that level.

I have been a big fan of Eros since Todo Historias, and never been able to attend any of his concerts due to location or bad timing. This CD just makes you wish that you were there. I`m not italian but it has subtitles that way you could follow the song. Hopefully i`ll be able to attend one concert this year with his new tour.
