A Scintillating Story, December 5, 2008
This review is from: Erotic City (Paperback)
A common discussion among erotica authors is what differentiates their work from porn in print? Most whom I've related to on this subject agree that if you take away the sexual content you should still have the elements of a complete novel with a plot, story line, and development of characters. The author Pynk did just that in Erotic City; it is a scintillating and captivating story even without all the very detailed sex scenes, which erotica authors also agree is important to the reader - S.B. Want to be fancy-free and buck naked, taking in steamy sex scenes playing before your eyes? Or do you want to participate in an anonymous, spur-of-the- moment freak feast with like-minded consenting adults? If you so choose to get your newbie whistle whet, open the spicy pages of Erotic City by Pynk and leave your inhibitions in reality. Milan Kennedy is an IT girl in Hotlanta. Owning the sex mecca, Erotic City gives her fortune, fame, and most importantly, the man she loves, ex-boxer Lavender Lewis. But, all of this does not come without its own set of problems. Milan has her plate full dealing with Lavender's baby's mama, Ramada, who is full of drama, and her deceased father's ex-wife, gold-digging Nancy. Both ladies give Milan a run for her panties as they challenge her sanity with their jealous antics and over-the-top ways that threaten Milan 's relationship, business, and life. As truths are revealed and doors are opened, Milan discovers what matters most.
I really enjoyed every moment in Erotic City . It punctures erotica's envelope and is running neck-and-neck with porn. And I mean this as a compliment. With no names in the opening chapter, I was quick to conclude this was another novel with sex just for sex's sake. How wrong I was. Pynk invites readers into the life of swingers, a rather taboo lifestyle even today, while riding a nice plot and providing positive jewels for life. With its tasty language and voyeuristic feel, Erotic City is sure to enchant the freak in all of you. I recommend Erotic City to readers who enjoy triple-x erotica. Pynk, Marissa Monteilh's erotica pseudonym, has another book coming out in October 2009 titled Sexaholics. Thanks to the preview chapter in Erotic City , I will definitely pick up a copy.

Erotic City Come Alive! (RAW Rating: 3.5), February 18, 2009
This review is from: Erotic City (Paperback)
Erotic City is Atlanta's hottest playground for the swingers set. Owned by Milan Kennedy, it is the place where everyone flocked for the finest in adult entertainment. The popularity of the club quickly grows as an incident with a popular celebrity and a patron is exposed. The increase in attention to the club has the potential to impact it in a very negative or quite possibly a positive way.
Milan's lover, Lavender, co-owns the club and works as head of security. His ex-lover and mother of his son is dead-set on winning him back, even if it means destroying Erotic City. Milan is also feeling the squeeze from her former stepmother who is demanding rights to her deceased father's estate although she was divorced from Milan's father at the time of his death. To add to her stress, she's developing insecurities in her relationship with Lavender and being in such a tempting and sexually charged environment on a daily basis does not help.
EROTIC CITY, written under the pen name, Pynk, is Marissa Monteilh's wild ride into erotica. She sizzles the pages with heat as readers get an inside view of the lifestyle of swingers. Pynk also peppers in lots of drama and relationship dilemma, which keeps the story exciting. Readers will be thrilled all the way to the climatic ending. I enjoyed EROTIC CITY and am looking forward to future works in this erotic series.
