4.0 out of 5 stars Not just a massage book...
This book is good to begin with. It shows basic massage techniques. However it goes further than most massage books and describes how to massage genitalia aswell. That is where this book shines over others. It has very simple insrtuctions to follow and many techniques to try.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Decent Massage Book for the Beginner
Although this book is not for someone who is serious about learning massage techniques (I recommend getting Stewart Mitchell's The Complete Illustrated Guide to Massage) it's very good at making massage less intimidating and more intimate. There are actually some very good suggestions in the book and isn't a waste of money or time. But if you want more information on...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good range of information, June 10, 2003

This was very good - good shaded line drawings that captured just enough for us visually-oriented folks, and a nice rhythm of the words for those who can understand better by reading. I was reassured by the precise instructions, and there were plenty of tips and tricks and warnings to make me feel confident that we would get through the book successfully.

My wife is going over it now, and has highlighted some parts that she wants us to try - it is a very good way to break the ice, without having to be explicit and ask "would you wanna try this".

Note - it is full of drawings, not pictures, which is in some ways nicer, because some of the techniques are pretty intimate, but if you wanted pictures, you'll need something else.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, instructive invitation to share loving touch!, May 31, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Erotic Massage (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is beautiful and very helpful due to the guiding arrows. The techniques are easy and cover all areas of sensual touch. It's a wonderful book for lovers exploring the oft-forgotten, yet essential aspect of relating - loving touch. It's a great place to begin a relationship from, or to renew one and I recommend this book highly.

3.0 out of 5 stars The book is OK but buy the video., April 16, 1997

As far as massage books go, this one is on par with with all the other ones out there. If you are thinking about getting this book, don't if you own a VCR. There is an instructional video out there by the same name and the same folks which is far superior

5.0 out of 5 stars A really great book, April 9, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Erotic Massage (Mass Market Paperback)
We bought this book and found it to be stimulating, exciting, and very helpful. We really liked the illustrations, and unlike many other books of it's kind, the techniques in this book are easy yet extremely erotic. This book is great! We look forward to doing all the techniques he writes about, and we just ordered another of his books.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's got me SMILING!, June 9, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Erotic Massage (Mass Market Paperback)
I really like this book because touch is so important. Touch really starts everything inwardly and outwardly. Men and woman often feel awkward exploring there needs. This book gave good ideas and techniques to help jump start my exploration. My boyfriend saw the book out and was intrigued, and with out any prompting from me looked through it and wanted it to try some of the techniques and became interested in developing his sense of touch.

What more could I ask for - a great book for instruction and a willing partener as giver and reciever...I'm thrilled!

4.0 out of 5 stars Spice Up Your Love Life, August 16, 2005
This review is from: Erotic Massage (Mass Market Paperback)
My lover and I try to bring new and interesting things into our love life once in a while to mix it up. This book is one of our purchases. There are few words and the pictures are easy to follow. If you are the giver, it is incredibly easy to follow the book. But it is the receiver who wins the prize. The other great thing about it is that you can go all the way or you don't have to.

I thought this book did a really good job of uniting Eastern and Western ideas of sexuality in a way that's clear and sexy. I recommend it.

This review is from: Erotic Massage (Mass Market Paperback)
I liked this book, and I thought that the illustrations were realistic and sexy. The instructions were very clear, and it's already helped me and my husband. I'm thinking of giving this book as a gift to a friend who is getting married for her bridal shower.
