4.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Moods...
Erotic Moods is an excellent choice for background instrumental music. You're aware of the music, but it's not overpowering, it doesn't distract you, but rather stimulates you. I also enjoy falling asleep to it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Nusound = Enigma Wannabe's
Nusound seems more like a band that wants to be what Enigma or Delerium are, and really, no new ground is reached here. An assortment of synthesizer sounds are uninspiringly mixed along with the occasional Gregorian monk or native chants, or other natural instruments sounds, that seems all too familiar. I do not understand why this album is entitled "Erotic Moods...

An assortment of synthesizer sounds are uninspiringly mixed along with the occasional Gregorian monk or native chants, or other natural instruments sounds, that seems all too familiar. I do not understand why this album is entitled "Erotic Moods 2", because it hardly conjures any sense of eroticism or sensuality in their music. I'd rather pick up a Sade or Vanessa Daou album for that purpose.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too much borrowed material, February 21, 2004

This review is from: Erotic Moods 2 (Audio CD)
The music, well-performed and well-suited for romance, borrows far too much from other well known sources that it begins to interfere with the enjoyment of the music. The music draws much from Enigma, Deep Forest, and Art of Noise, with some elements similar to Moby, B-Tribe, Mythos, and so forth. Fans may get distracted as one tends to pick apart the music sources as the music plays. My recommendation: if you are a fan and well-versed with Enigma/Delerium, Deep Forest/B-Tribe/Mythos, and Art of Noise - look elsewhere or compile the mellower tunes from these artists into your own CD. For those that don't follow these bands other than when they pop up on the radio but like the samples on Amazon, the music is quite good for a romantic aural setting.
